I know from experience. It's a fad. I purchased 2 latex shapers. One for sleeping and another for working out. In MY opinion they are fancy workout bands. Unless you just had a child the results will be temporary. Pro: It gave me back support so I felt it helped with posture. Also, because of the compression I felt I got…

It's worse when you live with someone who always suggestion food advice. My boyfriend literally gives me unsolicited advice every time I cook something. I'm not as nice to him though

Depends on who it is and if the advice is warranted. I had a very good friend who is health conscious tell me I should never eat out, stop eating sugar, and avoid all sodium. She truly believed any weight I've lost so far(17pounds) is water weight because I've been doing all 3. At first I disagreed, but she literally…

One study found that even without limitations, calorie counting made women more stressed. Nobody wants that. Plus, an increase in stress can cause a spike in cortisol, a hormone known to rev up appetite, increase cravings for fatty and sugary foods, and up belly fat storage. Great, another "study" making generalizations…

No need to overly restrict your self unless you have medical reasons... If it fits within your calorie goal for the day "cheat" as hard as you want. Just make sure to track everything accurately and honestly throughout the day. I find eatting things in moderation daily prevents me from binging and delaying progress. I…

I'll count restaurants & takeout too... I'm a student and social eater(meaning I get invited to eat out) and it's rude to turn down an invitation . So basicay 2-3 times a week.

I have the Under Armour39. It's a chest strap hrm but it's very comfortable. I always forget I'm wearing it. The monitor measures heart rate, calories, and "willpower". One day, I compared it to my Moms FitBit Charge and the treadmill at the gym. It seems fairly accurate.

I think "cheat days" can hinder your progress if you binge BUT they can also make your new eating habits seem like less of a chore.....Just depends on your self control. I personally prefer to eat what I want any day that I want but only as long as it fits my calorie goal for the day. I find eating less restrictive 1)keeps…

You won't regret it

That in itself is a success, I couldn't get past the first week of Insanity. You already seem to possess determination and consistency you'll complete it!

Popcorn Boiled Egg If you like yogurt. There are single servings for 100-150 calories. You can also get plain Greek yogurt and add your own fruit, honey, vanilla, and granola to up the calories.

Well today's your lucky day. I'm having a 2 for 1 special. Get em while they're hot!

I believe it's genetics.

If I'm feeling fancy...Omelette. 2 whole eggs. 1 cup of spinach. 2 tsp of parm cheese. If I don't care...scrambled. 2 whole eggs. Salt & Pepper. 2 tsp of taco cheese.

Thank you. That makes a lot more sense. I was basically doing as you suggested.....I continued to add ice cream because I was aiming for a certain number of servings/grams. When in reality, i wouldn't usually eat quite that much ice cream at once. Even though I enjoyed every second of it. I was basically trying to…

I did the same exact thing before I got my food scale. Except, I was using measuring cups to measure brown rice. To put things simply, I was eating double the rice I thought.

Thank you again everyone! When I visualized 1 1/2 cup of ice cream I imagined it being a lot smaller. So I'm glad I can get chocolate wasted tonight!!!
