I can eat chips, pizza, hamburgers, fries, and easily knockout 3000 calories while still feeling hungry. You have lost the weight before, you can do it again. MFP works. However, you have to do what is best for you. I just think you can save money by not having the surgery and use that money to buy yourself new clothes, you're going to need them. :smiley:

Some General Practitioners are not well versed when it comes to nutrition. They are guilty of giving some of the worst advice when it comes to diet. Just because they have MD at the end of their name doesn't mean they know everything... even if they pretend they do.

I earn every calorie I burn. OP, if I had 800 calories left to eat whatever, I would eat a pint of ice cream! Blue Bell is 150-200 calories per serving at 4 servings per pint.

I totally read this as "how to get big FOR girls." I thought it was some dude trying to make some gains for the ladies. It would be the same for women as men. Eat, eat, and eat some more, and lift heavy weights. You also need to eat more protein. Try setting your macros at 40/30/30 and see if that works for you.

This is why people are concerned and have offered the criticism they have. You alluded that you haven't ran in a long time and that nothing about running is good for you. This is why people responded they way they did. If you don't like the way people responded, maybe your original post should have been worded differently.
