Also... If I want to pan fry some kale, but lets say I only use a teaspoon of butter and just the kale. I just have to document how much kale I ate and the butter.. correct? The process of actually frying it makes no difference. Right?

If you're hovering around 140-145, I don't think there would be much harm in lowering it. I'm not a dietitian, but I think you would be okay dropping down to 1200, or so as long as you listen to your body!! I'm 125 and 1200 is my max calorie intake. I generally eat about 1000 though. I know it's too low, but I feel great…

I tend to weigh myself daily.. as apart of my morning routine, but I don't track it on MFP. I think I'm going to start doing that. I feel like it would hold me more accountable and make me focus on short term victories as well.

True! But generally will only make a difference in your weight when you start them. If you're taking birth control on a regular basis, that shouldn't make a difference.

I certainly don't think i'm up 5-10 pounds.. Like Weightlosstrainer said, it totally varies. If i'm up 2-3 lbs from my actual weight, I will be ecstatic! I have SUCH a hard time dropping pounds with a thyroid condition.
