Intermittent fasting is just changing/restricting the times you eat. It has nothing to do with what or, importantly, how much you eat. No guarantee that IF will lead to any weight loss as you may just eat as much as before.

I don't think anyone was unkind?
-
We've told you this on your other threads. You need to change your expectations to 1-2lb per WEEK and also be patient and consistent over a period of time.
-
Do a different kind of workout?
-
I would assume its 1 and a quarter, not only 1/4 cup.
-
10lbs in a month when you're already petite is very tough... I would recommend aiming for slower loss to preserve muscle and ensure you get adequate nutrition.

Yeah, you really can't just check it online and use cups. How much chicken? Cooked how? Any oil? How much pasta? Wholegrain? What kind of sauce? How much sauce? You should weigh and log each ingredient separately.
-
But not directly though, right? Through the reasons mentioned above, like increasing your appetite, fatigue causing you to move less, etc. So you still have the possibility to control and manage it if you balance your calorie intake and expenditure.

People test positive months after the contagious period? With the same infection that they had those months earlier?
-
Why? What do you want to use hour-by-hour data for?
-
I'm intrigued, would love the recipe if you can share!

Are you also getting credited additional calories for exercise or steps and not eating those? The way MFP is set up, it is designed for you to eat back the additional exercise calories, otherwise your net amount is below your goal.

Me too, I get migraines induced by higher intensity exercise, including running. Especially when it's warm, but sometimes also in cooler temperatures.

Maybe I am misunderstanding your comment, but 100g dry is 100g regardless of the shape of the pasta. The only difference when cooking is water. I think when people said "weigh" here they meant weigh in grams/oz on a scale, and did not consider cups, which would indeed be affected by the shape and size (this is why cups are…
-
Yes, it would be easier to weigh it before cooking as it depends how much water is absorbed

You might have more success Googling

How are you doing @againwiththerelapsing ?

Since October you've been asking about when you can have a cheat day and why you're not losing weight every day and basically spinning your wheels. Plus I'm sure you had other accounts before asking very similar questions, though you never confirm when I ask if it's you. You're not listening to the advice well meaning…

I'm not sure but I doubt it - since this is an online community, I think most people want to engage online. There are many groups here though, you can join some or start one!
-
At that quantity, I would consider it an indulgent treat. I do love dark chocolate, if you can fit it into your calorie allowance without drowning out other foods then go for it!
-
Welcome! First of all some basic questions: what do you mean by "low calorie diet"? How many calories are you planning to eat, and what is your current height & weight? Are you active? Many people go in too aggressively and eat too little and then cannot stick to it.
-
You should be aiming for 1-2lbs per WEEK, not per day. You're not going to get from 194 to 180 by Christmas.
-
Oh I'm going to Germany in a couple of days and hadn't seen this, I kept checking as it changes so quickly. Was this just announced?
-
You say you feel like you are eating a low amount of calories - how many calories are you eating and how are you measuring them?
-
What do you mean by "one exercise"? If I say go the gym or to a fitness class or to Crossfit, is that one exercise, or do you mean something like "burpees"? If the latter I don't think it exists.
-
@Fuzzipeg have you tried phoning to book an appointment? I have a relative who had success that way.
-
Lose weight overall. You can't do anything to make weight loss happen from one specific part of the body.
-
What if you get up, put your gym clothes on and then go to do the breakfast and coffee prep? You might be less likely to be drawn back to bed if you're already dressed.
-
All of this, well said!
