The number in green "restantes" should be as close to 0 as possible. You are under-eating.

Maybe instead of starting starting multiple threads on similar topics, go back the other thread and answer people's questions, provide more information. We are trying to help you but several times you post a question, don't come back to respond to the replies and then just start a new topic again a few days later.

Thank you all! Good to know it's not just me and that perhaps if I persevere, my sleep will improve 😴

Hear, hear!

Does anyone find that their sleep gets worse when moving to AF? I know that seems to be the opposite effect many people experience, but I'm finding myself waking up a lot during the night and wondering if there is any connection.

You need to figure out what's causing you stress and address it, or find new coping techniques, or both. What have you tried so far?

Got off track a bit last week... and having not been able to access the forums since the update, it's requiring some memory power to get this right now! First week of November: 4 days AF, 3 days a couple of drinks (2-3, not to excess) Second week of November: Monday I had 1 rum & coke but stopped at that, so not too bad.…

What's your activity level set at? You won't get credit for every single step taken as even the basic sedentary activity level presumes some movement during the day. You will get additional calories only when you exceed the activity level MFP expects based on your settings.

How many calories is it?

Nov 1,2,3: AF Nov 4, 5: couple of drinks, planned Nov 6: AF Nov 7: 3 glasses of wine with a friend Nov 8: meant to be AF but hubby wanted a drink and I caved. Disappointed in myself. Back on the AF track today! Running total AF days 5/9

If you eat in a slight deficit below maintenance and don't workout, you will also lose weight. If you do a lot of activity that's unaccounted for, you are at risk of undereating.
-
Entering 0.33 servings is not very clunky.
-
Yes I agree, you can continue to lose until you get to a healthy BMI and then transition to maintenance. Or you can take a diet break along the way and maintain for a while, but unless you feel you really need it right now I would continue to lose a bit first.

First week of November: 4 days AF, 3 days a couple of drinks (2-3, not to excess) Goal for next week is 5 days AF.

I'm not familiar with this- is it only 3 minutes long like the title suggests? If so, hardly any, not worth counting.
-
Maybe you can post a screenshot of what you're looking at? It will be easier to advise.

I do!

I hope you're right, but in the UK I believe about 80% of everyone over age 12 has been fully vaccinated and it seems to be at the peak of another wave now. The important thing is though, as mentioned above, if vaccines take us to a point where case numbers may be high but there are fewer serious hospitalisations and…

Nov 1,2,3 AF Nov 4, I'm having something tonight, but it's one of my pre-planned days and for a specific reason. After tonight, hoping to get back on the AF streak until the next big birthday celebration in a week's time. I'm finding checking in here each day quite motivating.

Recommended calories per day will vary from person to person depending on your gender, age, height, current weight and activity level. If you set up MFP correctly and put in a reasonable weight loss goal, use the number it suggests for at least a few weeks and monitor progress. In terms of macros, playing around with the…

Surely walking is something you could and should hope to do all your life. I don't think either of your opening proposals are good.

This is absolutely me. I never drink large quantities and never get drunk, but it's become too regular. It snuck up on me a bit. When I say I'm not going to drink, I end up making excuses - it's the weekend, we have dinner with friends tonight, it's been a long day so I'll start tomorrow... I am starting today to give…

How long have you been consistent in your calorie deficit and not seen any change in weight? Are you weighing your food?
-
@bandandn and also @nadinebanda3048?
-
Do I read this right that a week and a half ago, you hadn't gained any weight? It sounds like you are stressing unnecessarily.
-
I'm afraid it's coming your way too. Winter and next wave approaching.
-
@trulyhealy, it's been 2 weeks now, how are you doing?
-
If you are logging everything including your cheat meal, then how big is your weekly deficit usually (looking across the whole week, do you end with a calorie deficit?)
-
No, one week you will be at maintenance so maintain weight, one you will be at a deficit so losing weight.
-
What is it you are struggling with? Are you regularly exceeding your calorie goal? What do you eat currently?
