Alright, what's your starting weight and height? Is this your ultimate weight loss goal? It may be possible due to the initial loss in water weight when starting a new diet… you could effectively lose around 4-5 pounds in water weight and another 4-5 pounds in fat loss. You all look rather lean though, so your weight loss…

Oh, and testicles! Saw a pair (sheep) in a small supermarket a couple weeks back. XD

Lol, you should try strolling through the meat sections in European supermarkets … specifically Germany and France. :D Recently, they have started to put just about anything back on display – livers, hearts, tail, brains, tongue, marrowbones, feet … I even saw pigeons being sold recently. I didn't know anybody…

Yep… it was easily over a 100 pages long, I remember it… Wasn't there a poster who tried a diet that was basically comprised of laxatives and had to be nursed back to health…?
-
I would also side with the general opinion here and state – a diet that you feel comfortable with and that fits with the lifestyle you want. For instance, I grew up on a diet based on a traditional mediterranean diet – lots of grains, lots of veggies, moderate fish and little meat. I have the luck that it is a diet that is…

Banana, soy milk, oatmeal peanut butter.

I had never watched one of her videos, but after seeing her mentioned a few times in the forum I decided to look her up to see what the fuss was about. A few seconds looking around on her page, I found this: Day 1: What and Why I feed my dogs VEGAN food NOPE. Nope nope nope nope nope.

Touché.

So freaking true. D: Most of the time, if I lie more then thirty seconds in bed after my alarm has rang, I will find an excuse to stay longer. I am slowly working on that. So far, I have managed to include a 15-20 minute yoga routine in the morning. Hoping to up that to 30 soon...

Hmm, i'd say lightly active fits. Maybe try planning your meals so they are after your workouts and you feel less hungry? I know some people here suggested tracking your weekly calorie budget rather than your daily one. Never tried it myself, though.

except for that one. if I go swimming I will be starving right afterwards...
-
wrong. even if I have barely eaten a thing all day, I will never be hungry after an exercise. in fact, if I have just had a really intense training, I actually won't be able to eat. the next day, is an entirely different matter...

Oooooh. Ok.

I have to ask… what would the difference between ice cream and gelato be? Isn't one just the italian term for it?
-
Fish aren't cute.
-
Indeed, it does seem fairly simplistic. However, for someone like me who barely a clue where to start, there's a lot of appeal in there.
-
I plan to get started tomorrow, using the cheat sheets available online as I don't have the book yet. I was wondering if everyone else was following the plans given in the book or simply practicing the routine every other day…?

that sounds like blasphemy to a french-raised like me. o.O

mayo, cheese otherwise I eat more or less everything

Look at the motivation and support section. You should find plenty of inspiration there.

vain attempt or not, I applaud this post. yes.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised by either possibility.

Dunno, I was thinking maybe the fur might still show… and bits of bones. Like owl pellets. You are seriously starting to convince me that deer are inherently evil. Were they aiming at the eggs or little baby birds?
-
This might (read is for sure) morbid, but now I am wondering what that squirrel would have looked like in the deer's stomach once you cut it open...

I agree with malibu that if you really are at 1,200 you should be losing. I am a rather small woman and I still loose on 1,200 even if I nap all day. What you eat also won't affect your weight loss, only the amount of calories you eat will. There is also no such thing as your body "holding on" to fat at low calorie levels.…
-
Are you tracking your calories? If you are not, it is actually fairly common for people who's tart exercising to gain weight, since you will feel hungrier and thus tend to eat more. It is also very easy to overestimate the calorie expenditure and feel less bad about overeating "because I exercised today." Track your…

At one point, I weighed myself every day simply because I liked seeing the graph with all those tiny fluctuations on the long term.
-
If that is true, that is bloody amazing.

Confirmed. They also might try and sell them to you by claiming they contain L-Carnitin, which supposedly helps fat burn. Ignore that. They most likely will also have a lower protein concentration than the normal ones, meaning you will need to eat more to get the same amount.
