Yes, most definitely. Start off easy but you still want to feel a little sore. Gradually work up to heavier, but listen to your body. Last thing you want is tearing biceps, etc.

Lift heavy, lots of protein and the right amount of good carbs. I lift heave for one month straight while out at sea , then take it easy when I'm home to heal. I've seen great results in strength and muscle mass.

I am going through a divorce right now, I used to weigh 265 and started using MFP soon after. It does work if you stick to it and choose fruits, vegetables, and low fat options. The walking / running really helped me to shed 45 lbs.

Hello, I can honestly say it works. I dropped 40 lbs just by watching what I eat and walking / running everyday. I use the garmin vivofit with the heart rate monitor. Time and patience is key..
