Thanks NK1112. I know my numbers weren't bad but the drowsiness was very worrisome. Good to know the info on the fish fillet (high carb and fat combining to turn it into a bad protein). I could not figure it out.

101, very pleased although I have been sick and was up in the middle of the night. Decided to eat some peanut butter on a sandwich thin. When I tested this morning at 6:30 AM it was 101. It is usually anywhere from 117 to 135. I may have to eat in the middle of the night again. Does anyone else do this on a regular basis?

Hi, this thread is a good idea. I am Julie, 56, T2 as of July (insulin resistant for years prior to that). Started looking into reducing my carbs upon diagnosis. Been working on it for 42 days. I have lost weight and plan on continuing to do so.

Thanks NK1112. I am doing the netti-pot and vicks. My throat lozenges are sugar free Fisherman's Friend in Mint. I usually use the HBP Coricidin when sick but have not here at home. I am going out soon so I hope that ends up be sugar/sugar alcohol free. Thanks again.

Sounds like you need to just do your own thing if you have no family support. Eat like your educator told you to and let your family eat how they want. Sometimes silence says more than trying to explain.

I agree with shaynepoole, but one or two outfits that fit, because before too long you will be in 1X! With the two new outfits your will feel fresh and spiffy until the next size change.
