10 More this weekend. Couldn't do more. Saturday went to a dancing party and did not stop, really, from 9pm to 1:30AM. When I got to bed, my Vivofit goal for Sunday (9400 steps) was reached. Got up and felt all around my body the effects of the night. Worth every minute!

That's how I feel, exactly. Two years ago I couldn't run 30 sec without my heart jumping to 190. Yesterday finished my first 10K. I walked a part of it, ran most of it and finished happy knowing that at 46 I healthier than I was 2 years ago. :) . So that's my motto "beat yourself, run more"

My first 10k race! So happy was aiming for 1:18 - 1:20 because mcmillan caculator said I should do 1:14. It was cold (around 29F). Finished 1:09:54. It's a 2 loop race, last year I did the 5k and finished 35:44 this year I completed the first 5k with 33:36, PR there! My husband, who doesn't care for running (he's a surfer)…

8 k more. Still inside. I NEED to run outside, but this week we had snow, rain, freezing rain and it's cold, at least for April. Next week it seems that it is going to be better. One can just wish...

What should or should not eat before a 10am 10k race? It's probably going to be cold, around 34F. It's my first 10k so I'm kind of stressed.

Hey welcome to my world! I'm 5'11" and frequently have to buy man's clothing and shoes because of size. My ski boots are exactly the same as my husbands,1 size different, that's how we tell them apart. It's not easy not being average.

I'm in. Aiming for 110K this month. Wishing for sun and nice temperatures here up north. More outside runs less indoor tracks and treadmills.

Another 5.5k at the Y track. Right knee is bothering a bit. I'll try some strengthening work tonight.

[/url Mondays are usually rest days, but since there's snow forecast for Wednesday, well ran/walked yesterday. at the end little pain on right knee. Tonight I have Step/tonus/Aeroboxe class. Hope knee won't be a problem.
