120-125 from 185. I want to fit into my wedding dress on my 10th anniversary in a year and get in shape before having another baby. 20 lbs down now, 40 to go.

^^^ This. Why do people assume that the partner must change his habits, too? A person has to be mentally ready to make life long changes. Being a cheer leader for someone else is not substantial motivation. Why did we all end up overweight, if it's so "easy" to just commit? Yes, it's nice to have support at home but don't…

I'm in the same boat: my thighs looked big in proportion to the rest of my body even at the lower range of healthy BMI. They kind of protrude forward and the muscles only make this feature more prominent. I used to feel very insecure about it, but then I realized that I actually liked the way it looks on other people. Some…

ok, so it's been almost a week since I started. I decided to alternate with other types of exercise (running or yoga) so I've only done the shred lvl 1 video 3 times but I already notice that it's getting easier. I might move on to level too soon

I'm sharing a lot of personal information that I have never shared with anyone before. It's liberating to be able to present yourself in a way you choose, and also getting to know other people through communication and support. Privacy is a bonus, but I also find it much easier to be honest and be truly me, when there's…

Totally! And these days come just when I think I've figured it out.

I went to the local WW once, sunce my friend swore by it (she lives in another city so she goes somewhere else). Well, the one I have nearby gave me the most deferring experience. The receptionist completely ignored me for several minutes, not even a nod. After I asked her to tell me about WW, she pointed at a poster by…

aren't we supposed to give the muscles time to recover? I will research this more and maybe decide to alternate with Jillian's other videos. In any case, I'm committing to 30 days of woking out, no breaks and no excuses.

Same problem here. I have to wear two bras and still wish there was more support. Although, it's another motivator to lose weight. It'll get easier as the boobs get smaller.

On youtube there are levels 1,2, and 3. Does anyone here know what it mean? Do I need to increase the level every 10 days or stay on the same one for 30 days?

I'll do it!! I really want to get stronger by September and my 2 months of yoga gave me some basic core strength to tackle this program. Good luck to us all

Anything sweet, especially milk chocolate and ice-cream

That's not so bad. I once ate half a Chillie's chicken avocado sandwich only to find out it was 800 cal. For only HALF of it!!! And that's 2/3 of all I can eat for the day. Just keep tracking and learning what makes you happy :)

On week 3 you actually lost 3.2 oz (there are 16 oz in a lb, not 10, and you lost 2/10 of a pound). I hope this makes you feel a little better about that week :) You're doing a great job, keep it up!!

I also have a 2 year old, and I totally welcome vents - they make my newsfeed much more interesting, as long as they're mixed up with motivational and positive posts. I'm sending you a friend request.

Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, but Minnesota has been my home for the past 10 years, and I'm loving it here. (No reference to McD)

Welcome, and it's not too late. By the time you're 50 you'll have been on the right track for two weeks, and you'll be lighter and healthier than now.

Not exactly an exercise, but as close as it gets for me: yoga. And even when I do other workouts, I keep thinking of how it's helping me build strength and balance for asanas.

Just take it one day at a time. Try taking your focus off the scale and instead explore your body (didn't mean to sound dirty, sorry). I mean, learn what foods and which combinations of foods satisfy you, push your physical boundaries, try doing something you've never done before. I got into a yoga class, and I'm not at…

Came here for the comments, I'm in the same boat. My husband is generally unmotivated and it is becoming a problem. I am trying not to think about it and just worry about my own motivations, but the respect is slowly melting away. I try to remind myself that it took me 15 years of struggle to finally get to where I am now,…

I want to be in 150's in 10 weeks. I'm now in upper 160's
