  • couldn't choose just one of them...
  • Honestly, candy is a BIG issue with me too. Some days, literally that's all I have. But a good thing I found to help me cut down on it is a)as others have said don't take the whole bag, just take a serving and make it last. But also, b)get hard candy instead of chewy ones. The hard candy gives you the sweetness without…
  • I, like you, have an addiction to carbs. I'm lucky in the fact of I'm young, and still have a metabolism that can keep up with living mainly on carbs. I'm trying to be healthier and part of this is cutting down on carbs...VERY DIFFICULT. I can relate 100% to that. My family makes comments too about my carb intake,…
  • As I mentioned earlier, also, weight is a BIG button for me because many people say it in snobby/rude ways
  • My weight is a very big button and people have always said things, like your first comment, in ways were it's snobby and rude.
  • That's possible with me for sure some days...thanks for pointing it out
  • I'm actually 19 for your information
  • That's not even what my question was about. WTF
  • I'm an adult
  • Honestly, I've been through the same phase of wanting to lose weight. I've currently lost almost 25 lbs without ever having a gym membership. The key is in your diet and then adding in exercise where you didn't have it before. Examples include: parking further away from the store you wanna go to (little but it all adds…
  • Thank you! I'll try that especially with the dressing :)
  • I don't have pictures (I have an aversion to taking them really) except a few that are from when I was thinner. That always gets me hate for being on here (I had a BMI of like 16.8ish in a lot of them) so I won't post them... But I will say you look like you've made great progress. Just a month too? Wow! Keep up the great…
  • Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of spicy, but sometimes I do like the kick. The lime and honey sound like it might be a good alternative to the ranch I usually like to use. I think I'll try that first and see if I like it. Thanks!
  • I do usually eat breakfast, but sometimes I don't 'cause I feel like that opens the door for binges. I'm not diabetic so shouldn't my blood sugar be staying relatively stable by itself as long as I'm not fasting for days on end or something like that?
  • What do you put in your salad? I have a lot of trouble with salads 'cause they all taste bland/like nothing to me. I'm a vegetarian so no meat can be added though...but any suggestions?
  • The 500 calories can be burned through exercise or lost through eating under your daily need for maintaining. Also, the 500 number is for if you wanna lose a lb a week. Ex: If you need 2000 to maintain your weight and you eat 1500 with no exercise, your losing 500 calories a day by not eating it and (in theory) you should…
  • Thank you so much for including the picture! It's hard for me to picture differences just going off the numbers, but you look great! All your hard work is most defiantly paying off :)
  • Ok. Thanks for the advice. I know about glucose readers (my mom has diabetes) but I thought you needed a prescription for them...but I'll look into that. Thanks!
  • I was trying to get help with it and the weight gain as I understood it was mainly for muscle gain and I'm sorry if I was mistaken. I am not dangerously underweight (the cutoff for that is 16.5 for BMI which I am still above at 17.2). I know that you have to be above the TDEE for weight gain, I was referencing for weight…
  • Why is it net? Don't you only need a net of around 1200 if you don't exercise? So why would my goal need to be a net of higher? My BMR is like 1210ish
  • I see where your coming from, but I'm not here for the weight loss aspects. I'm here asking for help with this issue that is making it EXTREMELY difficult to eat as I should be.
  • What is considered 'too little'? Just under 1200? Or is there a different number. Also, does it go by net or intake? If it's by net I might have to force myself to have more intake because then it could defiantly be too low...it all confuses me to be honest
  • Isn't starvation mode a myth? I swear I heard that a couple places...But I'm glad upping your calories worked for you
  • No. I'm better now, but thank you
  • I do eat veggies and fruit some, but maybe I do need to up that intake
  • And I do retail for work 3 days a week, am a student, and go horseback riding 4-5 days a week
  • 19, 5'4, and around 100 lbs
  • Ok. Thanks for the suggestion!
  • I know my blood pressure runs low, but would that cause nausea too
