I found this site. Might be helpful as it lists beer, wine, and alcohol stats. lowcarbediem.com/low-carb-vice-improving-your-diet-with-alcohol/

I'm here! I'd be happy to help. I've done the 5 pound thing too! But I've really committed to getting back to my happy/healthy weight and I've lost 14 pounds since January. I'm sending you a friend request now. B)

That is a wonderful weight loss. I'm like you. I don't want to be super thin. I have about 50 more pounds to loose. Thank you for friending me. B)

I've lost 14 pounds since January 5th. I want to get back to when I felt my healthiest so I've about 50 pounds to go but I'm focusing on 10 pounds at a time.

I'm here too! We can motivate and encourage each other. :)

Congratulations to all of you for taking this journey. I am eight years out and even though I've gained some back I have never regretted having the surgery. Please all of you feel free to friend me. I've started strictly following the guidelines and I'm on my way back to my size 8 skinny jeans. There will be peaks and…

I've been on before too. Started back seriously in January 2015. You can do this! And I'll be happy to support you.

I'm in as an accountabuddy! I'm eight years out and have gained some back so I can tell you that yes, maintenance is much harder than losing. That's why I've gotten very active with MFP again. I got away from food/fitness journaling and that's when I gained. So I'm back to active journaling, healthy eating, and daily…

Actually it's a glass of iced green tea.

It's a soup mug and plate set of four. I got it from Bed, Bath, and Beyond a few years ago. It's my favorite thing to use for soups. And the drink is an iced green tea. That glass came from Dollar Tree.

Thanks I'll check it out.

Yep I guess so! B)

My favorite halibut recipe: Place the halibut filets in a dish and pour the juice of one lemon over them and let them sit while you prepare the topping. For each filet take one tablespoon of olive oil mayo, one tablespoon of shredded parmesan, a half tablespoon of thinly sliced green onions, and salt/pepper/garlic powder…

My red bean salad is my absolute favorite thing to eat. It's so colorful and flavorful. It reminds me of spring. And with ten inches of snow on the ground right now I need a little spring time!

The pulled pork is a recipe my husband and I developed. Of course I had to have my mixed power greens. I have discovered dandelion greens and they are fabulous. I plan to incorporate them into more of my meals. But the coleslaw and potato salad are from the deli. I have three tools in my kitchen that are an absolute…

Katrinapri, I love your picture. I wanted to quote you but the picture is obscuring the quote button. But I wanted you to know how pretty your meal looks.

Thanks everyone! I know that there is a site for pictures however I am writing a cookbook and wanted to start a thread specific to my recipes. A lot of times I do post in both places. I will post the recipes as soon as they are copyrighted. One of the things I do need is testers for my recipes. I will post the recipes soon…

First of all kudos to the fact that you are exercising regularly, are toned, and have lost inches. You are developing good habits and your body is responding. I pay more attention to the inches lost than I do the scale. I have heard people say "muscle weighs more than fat!" Which is an absolute fallacy as a pound is a…

Lunch today...Cashew chicken salad, red bean salad, and glazed blueberries. I guess you can tell by my pictures is that I am a blueberry fan. Everything on this plate is diabetic friendly, weight loss surgery friendly, and heart healthy.

I agree with Melduf. I too weigh daily but I have one day that is considered my official "weigh-in" day. But I think I'm going to start using Melduf's method. Another thing that I do to monitor my progress is measurements and trial clothing. I have a pair of jeans that was the size I was when I started this back in…

I get that. I've joined several groups that I thought this would be fun and motivating and after a week or two nothing. I want to create challenges and tips, and motivation but I don't want to jack someone's group.
