So, stick to the single serving size, then? ;)

I refuse to accept this.

I won't even give my family my work phone number. I have my cell on me. I will answer it if I can. There is zero reason they should be calling my office.

Confession: Part of me wishes you had said it was terrible. The other part of me is totally going to my Wegmans tomorrow.

I vaugely remember seeing this on like, tumbler. It was something like making every other letter italics. Oh, really? (actual interest) became Oh, really? (seriously?) ETA: That was WAY too much work.

Okay, I like you too.

You, I like.

I either fly through my drink, or it takes me FOREVER to finish something. I also prefer virtually everything (iced and hot) at near room temperature. I'm weird.

Confession: I have begun to mentally consider how I would train a replacement in only two weeks, if/when I take another position. It's been 3.5 months since one of our managers retired and the other took on both roles (volume has dropped where we definitely don't need two), and she has not once asked how or what I do. Part…

It's pretty fantastic. I think I got it in a 3 pack at Target (3 Cake Batter ones, mind you), but I've definitely seen it other places. I should probably hoard them all in case it goes away. Ha.

Could your doctor have wanted to do a COLPOSCOPY, not a colonoscopy? He may suspect that you have uterine polyps and go in to check and remove them. They can cause all kinds of cycle issues, and lead to more serious stuff. I actually had it done a few years ago because while I was getting a normal period, I was also…

Lip balm addicts - I possess CAKE BATTER Chapstick. That is all.

I can hope!

Thanks. It's scheduled for next Friday, the 19th. Sounds like this is a multiple interview process. :p

Occasionally, I also type too fast for my own good. (And having to use IE at work doesn't allow for the lovely red squiggle that Firefox give me at home!)

Guys! I got a call to schedule an interview for a lab manager position at an awesome hospital! It's actually the hospital where my FIL has been for the last few weeks post-heart attack. Weird fact: The two previous lab managers were fired after a terrible (potential shutdown kind of terrible) inspection. One of them was…

My dad calls my mom Carolly, if that helps. Ha!

Good luck! I spend my days dealing with those sorts of things after they leave the doc's office, so I can totally (try to) answer questions or concerns if you have them! ETA: Occasionally I forget to put all the words in the sentance.

Lilies are my favorite!

I have an interview with a recruiter after work today, who does not seem to be working with the sort of companies/positions that I'm really aiming for. I'm going mostly as a "refresher" on the whole interview experience. Does that make me a jerk?

There's a brand called Nu-Tek that they sell at Nutrishop in the states. Not sure how widespread they are, but it's actually pretty tasty, and comes in a lot of different flavors. It's expensive though.

Confession: I talk to EVERYTHING. Even in public. And I have absolutely no shame about it. I'm an embarassment. :)

This was a recurring issue when my the other half and I did our own laundry. He was constantly forgetting and preventing me from doing mine when I wanted. So, I told him if he caught up on all of his laundry (he would do 4 loads once per month - ugh), I would take over from there. He now complains that I do it too often,…

I've been meaning to make hummus for weeks, but I'm worried that I will eat the entire batch in a week three days.

Soooooo....supposedly they carry this at the Wegmans that's a half mile from my house. The nearest Whole Foods (maybe 2 miles?) does NOT carry it, however.

I caught up! Confession: The chaos of the last three weeks has completely thrown off my groove. I'm finding it very difficult to get my head back in the game. As for the exam, I felt reasonably prepared, but it was also really hard. So, we'll have to see how the results come back! (in 6-12 business days - that's a weird…

Fixed.

Philly is a lot of things. Being devoid of a-holes is unfortunately not one of them (though the group who bought them is from New Hampshire - wtf? Annoy your own state) If it helps, there was a whole hell of a lot of pushback from the community (including SEPTA!) about the ads being allowed to run, including from the…

I think I love this phrase.
