  • I don't use the exercise calories on MFP after numerous debates I've read about them being inaccurate.. Also if you ate back the exercise calories you'd just be countering against the exercise done rather than staying around your average weekly calories for weight loss.. For example, if you required 1500 to lose weight and…
  • It depends on your beliefs when it comes to calories.. If you feel like your metabolism would slow down after eating roughly the same amount of calories everyday for a prolonged period of time then maybe calorie cycling for you.. If your appetite is higher on days you exercise, in my opinion it would make sense to eat more…
  • I'm one of the intentional calorie cyclers! I tried eating 1800 calories a day (give or take 5%) but found on the days I went to the gym my appetite was much higher than my rest days. So what I decided to do was eat 2100cals on gym days and 1500 on rest day.. Been working well for me so far and as others have mentioned,…

  • This is a great resource, thank you. However is there a list on the forums that anyone knows about that is the complete opposite (Excluding veggies lol)
  • Haha I'm exactly the same, the weights aren't a problem.. Controlling myself is.. Good to meet you x
  • Wow this is so inspiring, well from Sir you have officially received 'Legend' status. I will be adding you promptly.
  • I'm definitely interested, London based too and potential meet ups with fellow MFPs would be great.
  • Morning! UK-based too. Good luck on your fitness journey after your leg break.. Sounds painful. Do you have an open diary? I'm a weightlifter too who recently had a back injury.. Taking it slowly when you're motivated is an annoying feeling lol.
  • London!
  • Unfortunately I got injured around 4-5 weeks ago and completely fell off the wagon! At my lowest I was 79.8kg, this morning I weighed 83.1kg :'( I'm feeling 85% ok so the last week or so has been positive. I plan on making the new goal 1st June. (My mothers birthday)
  • Last week was terrible! But I'm back now and still plan on knocking off 15 pounds by the goal date! I hope we still have many people here
  • Could you edit the first post and place there link there? Would be easier for us all and for the new joiners! :)
  • Well done! Progress is progress. Did you have a later dinner or a higher sodium intake? It could even be needing to go to the bathroom lol. As you said yourself you achieved lower earlier in the week so early everything you're doing is still working so don't be disheartened!
  • This is the thread for me! Is it too late to join you guys?!
