The only time I get frustrated or annoyed is if someone asks me for advice and then basically just craps on everything I say. I mostly am one of those people who keeps to themselves about their weightloss / fitness unless asked, but if you ask me for advice, and I give it to you, don't then tell it won't work for you…

salmon jerky! It's my favorite thing at trader joe's ever. I also really like the frozen seafood, meatless items, the organic frozen corn is delicious

depends where you are starting- i just lost 75 in six months, but where I'm at now, I probably won't be able to lose my last 50 by December, it will significantly slow down.

Been lifting for 6 weeks with a pt, would be happy to have more lifting friends on here :)
-
I think it depends on your goals- I chose my trainer because my goals were to start lifting and start lifting properly. I also had a trainer when I was younger and actually had no real 'goal' and ended up seeing no benefit after 3 months. I've been with the new guy for a month and half, I feel stronger, I've been able to…

Smoked salmon cream cheese, it says two tablespoons but when you weigh it, it's like one. Fruit on the other hand, I underestimate, I get to have so much more.

If I'm hungry, maybe a string cheese, pop chips, berries, glass of champagne.. whatever I'm in the mood for. Usually when I have 200 calories and under left, and it's late, I probably just go to bed and leave them for the weekend : )

My goal weight brings me to a bmi of between 21 and 22.

I think it was like a version of the three day military diet? I don't know but I still can't eat green beans.
-
If it's a pinch here and there, no. If it's a significant amount of a spice, I will

Grilled watermelon with balsamic glaze and warm goat cheese , and arugula salad with grilled octopus. Both were amazing!

Aside from using it as a tool for my weight loss goals (and obviously fitness goals)- I feel so much better about myself when I finish a work out- healthier, less anxious, etc. and it motivates me to continue working out / eating healthy etc.

I try to get minimum 4 days a week in the gym, but I also try to be active on my days off of the gym. Average week: Two days a week lifting (upper / lower) for an hour each, two days a week I do an hour of cardio plus a 30 minute strength program (one upper / lower that compliments the other two days). Sometimes I'll also…

nope Have you ever gone rock climbing?
-
That was my biggest obstacle to overcome, and honestly what lead to me failing so many times before- I would have unreasonable expectations and I would end up giving up. This is a lifestyle change, and you're doing it for more than just the 'scale' - focus on hitting milestones and NSV's as well as the scale, and you'll…

@Dnarules and @lishie_rebooted Rope courses sounds super fun, I'll check those out. @lishie_rebooted I unfortunately have a full time corporate job, otherwise doing something like that would be my dream : ) And @cheshirecatastrophe I know, I want to- maybe for my next birthday (30!) I'll get over it and do it

We actually have stand up paddleboard classes here in Brooklyn, I will definitely look into it!
-
WOW thank you. paddle board, wind surfing, sailing, skateboarding and maybe some of the sports are definitely going on my list (i'd love to base jump/sky dive but i'm also a baby so idk) , and meetup is a good idea, will totally look into it!
-
Fishing would be fun, I don't know if I could mentally hunt to be honest, I'm not against it, I just don't think I can do it myself!
-
Trail running! That's a good idea- I'm kind of a terrible runner, but that sounds fun. And DUH swimming, I must be having some brain fog because I completely forgot about swimming. I'm a little nervous about rock climbing but maybe at the end of the summer once I get a bit stronger.

edited to say this doesn't seem feasible

Consistency only matters over the long term, not on a daily basis. If you 'derail' you start again the next day. I've derailed my diet over and over again over the past 6 months, but I always started again, I didn't let one night or even a WEEK of falling off the wagon stop me from continuing and I've managed to lose 74…

I hate lunges and accessory work but it's necessary !
-
I strength train 2-3 times a week (one day upper, one day Lower and when I can one day I focus on glute work) and then I cross train at least 2-3 other days a week, by that I mean either cardio or outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, trail running, etc. I wouldn't do one without the other personally

I used to hate exercising as well- I don't what changed, but I really enjoy it now and really enjoy being active. At first, in January when I started going to the gym, I absolutely hated it, now I hate the days I have to miss the gym. I think once you start doing something and make it habit, you actually start to enjoy it.

pop chips and flavored seaweed is my go to when I'm craving salty / crunch chip type things

I would 100% report them to the staff. If someone is talking about at the gym, that's ridiculous.
