swedish death metal. All day.

it's all dependent on what your starting weight is- I lost 50 pounds in three months when I first started because I started at 265 pounds and cut my calories down to 1200 (which I now acknowledge was too low, but i was also going through some personal stuff and barely able to eat so..) Now that I am in the 170s, and eating…

with alcohol and food, i'm sure it was like over 7k.

i haven't been this week, but usually I eat back 75% - all of them. BUT you have to be 100% on point with your logging (both your food and exercise) because if you're under counting your calories or overestimating your exercise...

I drink protein shakes very rarely, and I average about 100-140 grams a day. I would say, maybbbbe once a week if I wasn't paying close enough attention during the day to my macros
-
5'6, not sure my goal- I've currently been bouncing between 165 and 175, but I'm hoping to get down to the 140's and see how I feel

29, turning 30 in january! I finally am just about hitting my college weight, but, I'd like to surpass that and look BETTER than I did in college
-
I'm I guess a pescatarian as well. I hit protein goals daily with : fish (tuna pouches are great), greek yogurt, string cheese, vegetarian meats, beans, lentils, hummus, protein bars, tofu, almond milk, cottage cheese

Don't try to be perfect. When I made this a lifestyle change, where I could still drink and eat pizza every now and then on weekends, it finally worked. When I used to be super strict to the point if I 'messed up' i'd quit, it didn't.

I'm 29, never had a baby, and have loose skin and stretch marks..and it really doesn't matter. Yes, there were times I got discouraged as I have been loosing weight, but I've come to realize, who cares? I can do so many more things now (run, hike, climb) and it's not like the people I date have any complaints. My body…

I lift 4x a week, but i'm new to it, 7 months in only

:D

I've just accepted the callouses, the front of my hand is pretty and I have a dope manicure, and then palms up i'm gross lol

I don't typically worry about holiday weight gain, because it usually comes off within two weeks of coming back and going back to my routine. With that said, I don't go wild, I still try to make decent choices

Vegetarian / pescatarian at thanksgiving is pretty easy- I've done it for six years and there's plenty to eat. Veganism is a little more tough, when I was vegan I would bring two dishes to share, and I'd basically just stick to those if there wasn't anything else.

Hi! Feel free to add me, I'm 29, and have lost 100 pounds since January 1st- started at 265. Looking to lose another 30.
-
I don't go by the machines, but I would say, if you log 30% lower, you should be okay. I used to log 50% of what the machine said just to be careful
-
I've lost almost 100 pounds, add me if you'd like

you guys are awesome! thank you for all of the suggestions. I like the 4 day 5/3/1 split @mike_bold , with all of your suggestions @jemhh for squat and deadlift day. I think I'll try that out and see how it works for me. I'll report back!
-
Push/Pull/Legs works too and I'm not against it, but I like the idea of training smaller groups of muscles, or rather, dividing the training even further and having less rest time
-
That would work, thank you for clarifying!
-
That's a three day I believe though, but I will check it out, thank you
-
i'm 5'6, 168, and a size large / 12, sometimesss fitting into a 10.
-
You can try it out and see how you feel. It also depends on what you're doing- when I was just doing cardio, I could totally workout twice a day. Now that I lift, I would probably find it impossible to do two workouts in a day, unless I was splitting my workout up.
-
I eat anywhere between 1400 and 2100, depending on the day and intensity of my workout. On spinning and lifting days, it's usually around 2000.
-
I will usually under estimate my calorie burns from exercise but I almost always eat them back, you have to find what works for you.
-
I started strength training when I was still in the "obese" category, and lost probably 20-30 pounds in the first three months. I would suggest, strength training + cardio (whatever you can do, bike, walking, etc.) and watching your diet. It's a triple threat then

For the first like, 6 months of my weightloss, I did really well- when I went out I would have one drink or not even drink, I wouldn't touch any drunk food. And then past couple months, it's like, I have to drink and eat like *kitten* every weekend. I'm with you, i'm trying to stop for at least November
-
nuts and cereal are always disappointing (like, I can eat three portions of cereal). I was actually pleasantly surprised about pistachios though
-
I don't plan to count calories, it's one day. But I also don't plan to go crazy, I'm just going to eat reasonably, exercise that morning, and go back to counting the next day.
