I currently use an UP24 but a lot of my collegues use the firtbit charge. I prefer the UP as it gives me more "targeted" information, but both are in my opinion good devices although I have to agree with the post above. They are only as good as the person using them. If you use all the functions then they are worth the…

me : 15 the binge : 4 binge free days : 0 fell off the wagon today :( - had a head cold and bought some comfort food when I was at the shops. Kept total calorie intake down to 2200 kcal but way too many carbs and sugar. Slept from 4 to 9 pm and feeling a lot better but damage done.

Hi - try joining a group - there is one for the forties here. Having friends of a similar age with similar life situations has helped me a lot (I am over 50). The general forums are a bit hit and miss.

Holidays are the worst, they should be banned imo (joking). I so understand your motivation problems. I am exactly the same. My best advice is ease back in, do something you really enjoy and then build back up over 2 or 3 weeks to where you want to be. Often the first step is the hardest.

PUDDING _ NOOOOooooooooo. Now you have as many binge days as me. So you have to stop now or let me win :)

*high five - Thanks - tbh i think being active in these forums helped me stop. I always thought I had a strong mentality but I have to admit that is the second time this month that I have been struggling. Thinking about the great people here, with their stories and their achievments lets me know that I am not alone and…

Pudding - dont focus on what others expect or measure you by. Sometimes we dont meet the goals even if we have made all the right choices. Dont let the negatives make the decisions for you. Stand fast, even if you dont reach that dietbet, you are still a winner and moving in the right direction. This forum has helped me…

Hi - Ill send a friend request. Im at 75 days (this time) but have been on/off MFP for over 2 years.
-
maicap - I agree - my binging was uncontrolled, eat all that I could of "stuff" then go out and buy some more. Took me 3 days to get out of the sugar loop. I am a taste binger - not stress or emotional. It just tastes so dang good and I deserve it (thats wot my mind tells me).

I was browsing through the forum looking for posts like this. So thankyou. I am getting zero support from my family and friends although some work collegues are supportive. I have lost 33lbs this time around (I am a yoyo dieter) and I am determined to keep it off and lose more. I have been logging 73 days in a row and had…
