I feel like this with my sister. I love my sister, don't get me wrong. But she was always the super skinny one in the family and my mother doted on her when it came to clothes shopping while I was stuck wearing ugly *kitten*. Now she's married to a southern boy and eating that southern cooking. She's gained weight, I think…

I'll admit I have this issue sometimes (moreso when I was eating at 1200). And I do get very hungry around 9-10a/3pm and usually I'll either drink hot tea or just ignore it. Now I'm in maintenance and I have more calories to play with but I find myself still doing that. I'm working on adding snacks, but when I…

I've had more than one person suggest I cut down my cardio (so I can focus on lifting, which I'd like to do) but I really enjoy running. People seem to tune out when I say that, though.

I always ordered Diet Coke because I liked the taste more than regular coke. Maybe that makes me weird. The only 'regular' soda I'd drink was Mt. Dew.

I drank black coffee for a week (and hated every single second of it) before switching to sugar free/fat free. I was using half a cup of creamer. Now I drink more coffee and only a quarter cup of creamer. 60 calories is way better than 235. Good luck!

I really hope I come across this! I had Hazelnut Chocolate Chip again tonight and I have to say, of the three I've tried, it's my least favorite. It's still good, but there's something missing for me. Though this time I did find hazelnuts in there rather than just the chips. I have to finish one of these three up before I…

One way to get around the smell is to bake them. Pop them in the oven I'm the rack at 325f for around 30 minutes, drop them in some ice water, and peel!

I prep my lunch for the week, and my breakfast, depending on what it is. I don't worry about dinner. I usually dish that out depending on how many calories I have. Or if I need more.

MFP, food scale, bathroom scale, Brooks running shoes, spirializer, Garmin Forerunner 220, music.

I bought my first pair of Nike's at Kohl's for $80. But once I got more serious about running, I ended up getting fit at the running store. They did offer me last season's shoes because they were much cheaper. But they were ugly. I spent $110 on shoes. But it was worth the investment, the Nike's weren't doing me any favors…

My sister loves it, because she gets all my old clothes. While I'm left with next to nothing.

I wish I had known how beneficial strength training would be. And that no one would particularly care that I was in that section of the gym. I only started in November, when I started MFP.

Roasted Asparagus is delicious. I've also been spiralizing my squash. Also, grilling zucchini is good too. I like to cut it into spears, season them a bit, and grill them on my grill pan.

I count my coffee, tea, and flavored waters. But I also drink up and around 200+ oz a week. This past week I was hitting 300 oz a day and still thirsty when I went to bed. I fill up 30oz or 32 oz water bottles and drink those.

Congrats! I was shocked when I hit my goal weight. I'd been working at it for four years (only started here in Nov. '14) and I was four pounds away and had stalled for two weeks. And then I stepped on the scale and bam, I'd reached it. I was excited and accomplished, and felt NOWHERE near ready for maintenance. I'd…

I was having two cups or so. I'd drink one right when I got up (hazelnut coffee with hazelnut creamer) and then put some creamer in my travel mug for work. Now I just drink tea at work. They provide free coffee, but it is the RANKEST, MOST DISGUSTING coffee you have ever tasted. So I just drink black tea to keep me going.…

My highest weight was 220 lbs. It took a long time (I was only just introduced to MFP in November) but now I'm down to 107 lbs. You got this. MFP will be a great asset, I managed to lose the bulk of my weight fumbling blindly in the dark.

It took me MONTHS to actually measure how much creamer I put in my coffee. For a while I lied and logged 2 tbsp for 70 calories. And then I stopped logging it at all. ¬_¬ And then when I was stalling for two weeks in loss, I hunkered down and measured. 1/2 cup of creamer at a whopping 235 calories. Such a bummer! I had to…

My Walmart had a pitiful Talenti selection. I'll have to scope out Target at some point. That Breyers sounds really good, though!

I'll be on the look out. I've yet to see the German Chocolate cake anywhere, though. :frowning:

Boo! Though, I do often times wish they carried cottage cheese is bigger containers. For some reason I like the low fat cottage cheese and could eat a whole tub. Maybe it's good those sizes might not exist. haha.

I use a Quest bar or protein powder to help up my protein. But since I'm adding meat back into my diet, I should have an easier time of it. I also like using cottage cheese and plain Greek yogurt. And edamame. I could eat all the edamame.
-
I eat Quest bars but for a while I was eating Think Thin Lean bars or something like that. I think they had around 10-15 grams of protein at 150 calories and 5 grams of sugar. If I do a shake, I have a scoop of Quest peanut butter powder, 1 cup water, some ice cubes, one dark chocolate square, 1/2 tbsp of chocolate sugar…

There are quite a few women at my work on the Military diet. I looked it up and that *kitten* looks miserable. I'd rather eat what I like in reasonable or small portions than cans of tuna. :grimace:

I couldn't eat past 9pm when I was younger because I'd throw up if the wind hit me wrong. My digestive system was a mess until I got my gallbladder removed. Now I regularly eat around 9 because of my schedule.

I started at 220 and and my eating habits were pretty disgusting. I was also totally inactive. I ate frequently and high calorie items. I also gained 40lbs in college when I was depressed. I didn't care and would eat half gallons of ice cream in one sitting, or those huge candy bars (and not the king size ones, the massive…

http://getdrunknotfat.com/ Someone posted this site a while ago, and while I drink sparingly, it looks like a good tool!

Well, I'm both excited and intrigued. I'll have to look around and see if I can actually find it before ordering it from Lindt's website.

I started on this site at 132 with about 10-15lbs to lose and chose the 2lb loss which put me at 1200. I struggled some days because I was so determined to lose the weight and set up mental blocks about eating snacks, etc, even though I knew I'd be burning a huge chunk of it off in the gym. Now I'm struggling to eat more…

113 pounds gone for me!
