  • My dietitian said that I need to eat 1500 calories just to be alive, per day. So I aim for that, (or sometimes a little less) per day, no matter if I workout or not. That seems to be my 'sweet spot' where I have had the most success. MFP said that I should only be eating 1200 and I was not losing any weight for the first…
  • I started T25 last Wednesday (previously doing Power90, but saw NO results after a month) and I already see results. I have lost 8 pounds (I kept losing the same 5-6 pounds with Power90). I eat around 1500 calories per day and do not eat my exercise calories. I am very excited with the progress and really like Shaun T (a…
  • I'm not new, but all my friends have seemed to drop off of mfp. I have a wedding in May and need to lose 30 pounds! Add me!
  • This is very true. I never thought of it that way. To answer your question skeltonblues I would go with a heart rate monitor (the kind that straps to your chest is the best way, in my opinion) to get an accurate measure of your workout. I have the PolarH7. It synced well with my iphone (I had an Iphone 4S) but I recently…
  • I am wondering what the difference is between the fitbit and a heart rate monitor. On an impulse buy I got the fitbit charge, but now I am rethinking this. I already have a polar heart rate monitor that I wear during my workouts and it is fantastic. However, I am looking for something to help me monitor calories burned…
  • I try not to eat my exercise calories either. It just doesn't work for my body. I have created a spreadsheet for my net calories so that I can average it. On average, since 11/30 (minus a couple of days) I eat about 882.7 calories per day (net). I'm guessing this is why my body will not let go of the weight. (I keep losing…
  • I weigh myself everyday. If I don't then I feel that I am not accounting for my day. I also log my weight everyday and keep an excel spreadsheet of the calories that I have ate (net) and my weight. That way I can enter in the formula for the average of the net calories and see if I am doing something wrong.
  • Dominos Cheese stuffed bread - the feta & spinach one and taco bell. I still cave for the cheese queserdillers. Basically anything with cheese is my downfall. But I have learned to eat less of it. Less is more, right?
  • I agree with you! Although I do get frustrated with the fluctuations that I am starting to see. Last week I lost 6 lbs and this week I gained 3 of those lbs back, without doing anything different. Its hard to know if you are eating too much or too little without weighing yourself daily and experimenting with your calorie…
