I have had a double lung transplant and was told the average life span is 5 years after transplant, July the 8th will be 5 years. So, am I average? Or will I live way longer than that and be an exception... hmmm such deep thoughts, but I cant help but wonder.

how could anyone arrest an innocent face like that... I'm going to say, being accused of taking a puppy, when she was really trying to put it back in the owners yard.

The best advice I ever received was from an older woman who told me before I ever got married, not to spoil my husband, she said ask him if he would like a sandwich, and when he says sure, then ask him to make you one too.... hahaha I have been married a long time now....

All of the ingrediants to make these cookies, adds up to approx. 840 calories give or take a little, depending on how big your bananas are and how much chocolate. I used 2 tbs of semi sweet chocolate chips. Calories for cookie would depend on how big your cookies are also. But that's a general idea... :)

MMmm all of this food looks and sounds so good. I have been dieting for 42 days now, and am getting bored of my same old stuff. I have lost 20 pounds, and have been trying really hard. I went to a fresh fish market, and bought some cod fish, I grilled it in a frying pan, and ate it with picante sauce, it was really good! Thanks for all the advice, could you share some ideas for cooking fish with me?

You sleep on your left side, it does help some, incline the head of your bed, and if you cant do that, prop yourself up with pillows. I have a hiatal hernia, and a double lung transplant. I am doing really well, but have let myself gain to much weight, last time I went to my transplant clinic, my lung function had decreased by 17 %, my doctor told me he thought it would help me to lose some weight and asked me to lose at least 10 pounds…

I was determined to stick to my diet, and I did it! I had 896 calories. And I cooked a big Christmas dinner for my family, ham, dressing, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, and gravy with rolls. It was not an easy thing to do, but I managed. And felt extra proud of myself. I really want to show my transplant…
