Try downloading the 30 day fitness app from iTunes. It has loads of great strengthening and toning exercises which take only a few minutes. Combine that with cardio, like walking. Try buying a step counter and walking 10000 steps a day. X

Thanks all. It's really insightful :) and ladies who skip breakfast because it leaves you hungry, that's just your metabolism revving up for the day as it were. Skipping breakfast isn't the best thing to do but if it works for you, great.

As long as you stretch properly and cool down correctly, you're fine. Soreness is good. It means your body is working hard. I say soreness and not pain. If you are in PAIN as apposed to just aching then you are doing something wrong, so be careful lol x

Why don't you try explaining to them that if they want to enjoy the little luxuries you allow them such as individual cereals, chips and soy milk as you mentioned, then they mustn't eat your luxuries. X

It's not advisable to eat below 1200 cals a day as your body enters into starvation mode. Healthy eating is a lifestyle change, not a fad diet. You aren't going to necessarily lose a stone in 3 weeks. Just ask yourself, could you live on a 1000 cal limit for 6 months or a year for example or are you going to start to…

I agree that an hour and half probably isn't burning 1000 cals. I walk for 2-3 hours (on a good day) and burn around 800 (according to my walk ever anyway). However what you have to remember is that by eating 1200 cals a day, you're already doing enough to lose a certain amount of weight. Note: NEVER eat less than 1200…

Thanks ladies. What do I want to get out of it? Eeerrrmm... I'd like something I can just wear and it tracks my movement whatever I'm doing tbh. Something which doesn't take too much thought, is reliable and not overly expensive. Step counting is key tbh but I want to start running so that will probably be my main use for…
