On top of that, Ive never heard of any credible source that says a threadmill wont help you lose weight. Its not about the calories burned as much its about your heart rate being in the optimal range for weight burn. You can do anything for half hour or an hour a day with your heart at above 120 (as opposed to 70 resting)…

Any last minute input? Still interested
-
Awesome stuff man, Ill be keeping this in mind all the way, What you say makes absolute sense, Im excited to get it all going in practice now. More input greatly appreciated!

Well the nutrition part is kind of assumed, and I don't mean that is a snobby way. I'm doing my best to stay under goal in all categories unless of course I needs to meet or exceed. I know everyone's journey is different, I just want some advice at what challenges I might face. No one likes surprises

I think some of what he meant got a little lost there. The idea was a sarcastic and unrealistic idea of replacing your bedroom with a home gym lol I was being sarcastic by suggesting I would replace my queen sized bed with a squat rack and he was just going off of that :)

Thank you for the names of programs and what not. Im clueless of the names of all of these programs lol Ive made a decision too. Im going to do the couch to 5k program and then so do some side lifting while I wait for my girlfriend to finish up at the gym. Then maybe do a 1 day full body thing. Kinda tailor it to what I…

its funny you mention that much detail, I asked my girlfriend what would happen if you had zero sodium and I was shocked when I found out that you could technically die. Still mystifies me. lol
-
Well thank you for putting my mind at ease. Ive noticed certain foods have a REDICULOUSLY high amount of sodium. Like Arthur Avenue hard rolls, 1 roll has 700 sodium. That's insane! I just wanted to know if Sodium and Cals were on par with numbers and from what it seems, it is and isn't. One of those, I knew the answer but…

All great suggestions, thank you guys!
-
Thanks for the tip man! I saw those in the store for the first time yesterday and just kept walking, Interesting come to think of it. Will do!

Popcorn kernels are hell in my teeth. I really enjoy peppers so maybe ill do that with some ranch. Veg's are a great alternative and I know that but I like the crunchy salty food too on occasion.
-
Well, We could buy two squat racks (more gains) and put a hammock up between the two of them at night
-
I know now what needs to be done... Ill buy a sleeping bag and replace the bed with a squat rack.
-
Its more off topic than I care to admit haha, Just why is one split and one round. makes no sense.

Thank you NDJ, your input has been very valuable :D and thank you to the other posters too! Any other general tips, such as lower level routines to invest in are greatly appreciated. Im flexable to something new, but I do enjoy what im doing now, even if its complex.

Im at the site generated rate of 2300 per day. That's 1.5 lb lose per week and going from 280 to 250lbs

Only a month yes, I was in and out of just dieting but I feel more inclined to diet if I have some pain and gain following it. My girlfriend (Troutsy) has been on the dieting and lifting train for well over a year now so shes been helping me out too. I know I need to look at a better long term weight lose plan too, I…

Ive been using Fitness Buddy to track personal progression of weight addition. Ive been narrowing down what my targets are for each exercise. My goal is to have size increase too. Although wouldn't that translate to strength too?
-
*tosses a protein shake* Welcome!
-
It varies on the exercise. All of push and pull are on cable machines, and all of legs are on weight stack if I remember correctly. I know I need to do deadlifts haha Ive done them periodically when my girlfriend is doing them too :P
-
Well, I weight 268 on a good day but I know that doesn't help, I don't know my % is. Ill have to get my hands on one of those electric pulse things that lets you know water, bone and fat %'s. I can most definitely work in dead lifts and Ive been lifting for about a month now. I'm sort of naturally strong so its just trying…

Also, perhaps the idea is not to feel full longer, but eating health side snacks. Or a small bowl of cereal if you get the munchies! On that note, Water! 90% of the time you feel hungry but filling your stomach up with water will hold you over until dinner time. On a side note, the mothers advice I was given is coming in…

I feel like too much pasta, rice, salad or even cream of wheat (porridge?) will just run through you. Gives you a false sense of being full as it bloats you up and then shrinks back down in a half hour. I remember countless times eating myself full of pasta, feeling sickly full and then be hungry again 2 hours later. Ahh…

Feel like I just read the entire 5 seasons of Walking Dead and you spoiled the ending lol
-
Thank you everyone for the tips, I decided Im going to go down the list and try a new one every day or week depending on the tip :) See what works

No to the OP cause she is a troll :)

I find it cool that MFP as its inner circle of game playing, and that was the intention of this thread. Sintirous you just wanted to spread a bad day to someone else. If you were too busy checking out other threads, why come back to this one every time it updates? I feel you are attacking her sense of "norm" by trying to…
-
A good point haha I think I have one laying around too. I get spoiled with the integration between MFP and the apps haha

Im gonna eat 1860 calories in M&M's a day, Ill DEFINITLY lose weight  Jk :disappointed:
