Hi, you can find several of us under motivation and support in the Carb Cyclers Unite post. Edit: To answer your question, most of us use Chris Powell's books as a guide. We also formed Pinterest pages with high and low carb recipies.

Congrats Angel! That is the best feeling on earth.

I'd be happy in a size 4 or size 6

It's sort of non invasive. You are numbed with local anesthetic and they make a very small incision to insert the metal wand with a red light at the end (laser). They move in different directions to break up the fat and melt it with the laser, then they suck it out. You can watch videos of the procedure on you tube (search…

I had laser lipo ( the lipo you are awake for with minimal recovery time) back when I was a size 6. I was not happy with the results, I didn't see much change and now I'm back up to a size 14 so $5,000 wasted. So no, I don't think I'd do it again.

Congrats DB! I can't wait to fit into my old clothes. I have every size in my closet from 4-14 LOL!

How long does it take to cook the frozen chicken/fish and veggies in the microwave? I always forget to defrost my protein so I am interested in trying this.
-
Do you know what section in Costco the pre-cooked hard boiled eggs were in? I went to the Costco by my work awhile ago and saw the hard boiled eggs, and when I went to the Costco by my house last weekend to look for them, I could not find them anywhere.
-
Do you have a Ralph's? I live in Southern CA and buy the Kroger Carbmaster yogurt at Ralph's. It's 60 cals 1.5 fat 4 carbs 3 g sugar.

I usually eat between 1,000-1,200 and then 2,000 on Saturdays. I look at it as a weekly deficit and it balances out to 1 lb loss a week for me.

Would this also work in a glass Pyrex bowl? I don't have mason jars  ?
-
Thanks for the information! My next doctors appointment is in the morning so maybe I'll be 5'4" again  I refuse to update my fitness pal until my next visit.
-
Sure, you can substitute anything you like. I once tried mustard and Greek yogurt in lieu of mayo but I didn't care for it.
-
I was able to add the recipe to the low carb Pinterest board. Thanks Steph!

Sue, you named your dog 3 miles? Just kidding, a little Tuesday humor  You're doing a great job and your weight loss results show it!

My lunch is 1/2 gone, but I brought one of those low sodium tuna packages with some baby carrots and chopped salad in a cooler to work. I keep a bottle of reduced fat mayo here. It requires no prep, just throw in a lunch bag with an ice pack and go.

Hi Steph! I am pretty much on the same plan as you (same days too) except I do an additional low carb day on Friday, and on high carb days I eat cheese (sparingly) but it's a no no according to the book. Welcome to the group!

Happy early birthday DB

Thanks for all the tips. I save calories daily to use on Saturday but unless I exercise enough I'm in the red. I will need to try that negative adjustment. I also didn't know you can view your weekly stats, but if it includes my fit bit numbers it will be off since my fit bit says my weekly net deficit is 7,000 calories…

I know how you feel. I went to the doctors in August and the girl measured me at 5'3". I was like NO I'm 5'4" and always have been. She insisted though and proceeded to write 5'3" in my chart. I was annoyed because I really need that extra inch LOL! I can't possibly be shrinking at only 37 years old so hopefully I just had…

Oops, I meant high carb day. I'm Supposed to eat fats on low carb day. Silly me

I'm 5'4" high body fat % 40+ 158 lbs (as of last week) 37 years old and set it to 1,200 for sedentary (office job). I usually eat anywhere between 1,000-1,300 calories. I do exercise as much as I can, at least 10,000 steps a day and I lift light weights a few days a week. I bank my exercise calories for a maintenance day…

I'm only 4 weeks in and about 7 lbs lost. I had 44 lbs to lose and so far no changes in how I look, or how my clothes fit  I'm still waiting.... I guess once I've lost over 10 lbs it should happen.
-
No NSV for me this week  My jeans are still super tight. I think I need to cut back on sodium a bit. I'm going back to my modified carb cycling plan where I allow some fats on low carb day if within my calorie goals and eat 2,300 or less mg of sodium.

Mine is open to friends. Feel free to add me so we can share meal ideas
-
Thanks Laura, it sounds like you are doing great!

Thanks DB

Thanks Sue!

So far I'm at 6 lbs lost, and I did a mid week check and as of today I lost another 1/2 lb. I am on track to lose at least 1lb this week for a total of 7. I'll see if my size 14 jeans are any looser this Friday at work. I wear them every 2 weeks so we'll see. Although, I think my weight has not come off my lower half yet…

I'm eating egg beaters, extra lean Jennie O ground turkey, mushrooms, onions and reduced fat cheese.
