  • I'm at a 250 calorie deficit. Lifting heavy weights, eating 0.9 x weight in protein and trying to keep what's left of my muscle while reducing my body fat.
  • I tried the link and disconnected and reconnected my Fitbit but my fitness pal still won't sync. The app shows last sync yesterday. I guess I'll just wait it out until the problem is fixed.
  • Wow! You look amazing! I love seeing success stories from other ladies who also suffer from hypothyroidism.
  • Thank you to everyone for providing feedback.
  • I like it but I wish when you went back to the previous days you could see the calories consumed, sleep etc.. For that day on the dashboard without having to click on the circle. I also wish it showed your calories in/out with your deficit for the day like my body media app used to, but these are just "wishes".
  • My left eye brow is not as full or long as my right eyebrow so thanks for the info! I have been using wunder brow to fill it in.
  • I love Halo Top mint chip and birthday cake. My store never has the strawberry which I want to try. Disclaimer: I also like Artic Zero. I'm in love with the new 300 calorie pints, snickerdoodle, banana, and cookie dough are delicious! I also like the 150 calorie pints of salted caramel and cookie shake, 20 seconds in the…
  • Cottage cheese sounds interesting, thanks!
  • Do you put the mixture in a baking dish in the oven?
  • I feel the same way! I just started Stronglifts 5x5 and I'm hoping to drop to a size 4 but stay the same weight.
  • I understand completely. I'm 5'4" and since I weigh daily I fluctuate between 120-122 lbs right now and I'm still a size 6. I think that 115 is now my goal but if I was a size 4 and weighed more due to strength training I'd also be happy
  • I follow 1,200 calories 6 days a week only so I can have 2,200 on Saturday (calorie banking). It's not difficult for me, but sometimes when I add up the macros I'm really getting like 1,250 a day, meh no biggie.
  • It also gives information on your highest calorie foods and foods with the highest protein, carbs or fat.
  • I just upgraded and love it! No annoying adds slowing up my food diary and the best feature for me personally is that I can set different daily calorie and macro goals. I lost my weight reducing calories 6 days a week and eating in a surplus 1 day a week but my daily average was still in my goal for the week. With premium…
  • I make the same dinners every week: chicken and bean burritos, lentil pasta and garlic bread, tostadas, chili cheese baked potatoes, baked chicken Parmesan with garlic bread, pita pizza and 1 night out to eat.
  • We went to BJ's Brewhouse to celebrate my husbands promotion. I had cheese pizza, blonde beer and we shared a white chocolate macadamia nut pizzokie (cookie with ice cream). It was amazing!!!!
  • Mine slide down my nose now. I keep forgetting to have them tightened when I'm at the mall.
  • Yes, actually I did one day at a surplus and cut more 6 days a week. If you look at how many calories you have per week you can allocate them as you wish. I stayed at my weekly goal and lost 44 lbs.
  • I'm 5'3" or 5'4" depending on who is doing the measuring. I had argued with the lady at my Doctors office during my last physical when she told me I was all of a sudden 5'3" LOL. Anyhow, I'm 120 lbs and 38 years old. I just upped my calories to maintain and I'm hoping to lose fat and build muscle with weight lifting.
  • @trixiex that was interesting, thanks! For what it's worth I was put on thyroid medication with a TSH of 4.90, but started losing weight at an expected rate 2 months prior to starting the pills. I've lost 44 lbs with no plateaus and I'm now starting maintaince. You can lose weight if you are good with logging, use a food…
  • I'm 5'3" or 5'4" depending on who is measuring me LOL. I've lost 44 lbs in the last 9 months, from 164 lbs to 119.8 (today) trend weight is 121. Per an online body fat calculator I'm 26.5% fat which is still a little high to me so I probably have a few more pounds to lose.
  • I like mine because it updates my weight in Fitbit, Myfitness pal and trend weight without having to think about it. Sometimes the interface is slow. The body fat is likely not accurate, it says I'm 29.5% and I'm a size 6 pants. However, you can still use the trend to show fat loss. The only issue I've heard is if you have…
  • Just out of curiosity, has anyone found a database entry for cooked extra lean Jennie-O ground turkey? The 99% fat free? I can't locate an entry so I've been using what is on the package which I assume is the raw weight, but I weigh it after cooking since I make the entire pack at a time.
  • Hi Nancy, that's a bummer that it won't be fixed anytime soon. I have noticed the duplicate meal entries for awhile now and erase the erroneous entries, but sometimes the bug is that Fitbit added additional calories to my meal instead of a duplicate entry. I've tried deleting all the entries with hope of a fresh accurate…
  • UGH it seems like Fitbit has so many issues right now. I'm also tracking my rate of loss in May to figure out my TDEE as I transition into maintaince and tonight when I got my weekly Fitbit report my calories in were not accurate. In fact, when I looked at my daily average in MFP and multiplied by 7 days, the Fitbit report…
  • Mine is the same way now after the dashboard updated. I've just been clicking on the calories in/out tile for the previous day to look at the data for how many calories I burned.
  • I'm 1 lb away from my original goal of 120 lbs. I still can't fit in my size 4 jeans so I'll likely keep a small deficit until I get there. The last 10 lbs were not any harder to lose, but since you burn less calories the lighter you are you need to make adjustments. Like what was said a food scale is key! It also helps to…
  • A while back I bought a tub of nutra summa chocolate pea protein at sprouts and I'm finally using it again. It tastes ok, doesn't taste like peas to me. I think it was like $40 for a big tub.
