That is awesome! I can so relate to this way of measuring progress.
-
Wow! What an inspiration!

Excellent! So motivating to see your back shaping up - that's a huge goal of mine. Probably see it in about 12-13 more pounds, based on your progress.

Way to go!!

That's cool. I wouldn't have thought those were the same shorts. Congratulations!

Exciting!!

Fantastic! I hate the tyranny of scale numbers, but did a little game with myself this week. I weighed in on my official day +2. The next day, I was -2. So, I chalked it up to a fluctuation and moved on with my life. But still, for those 48 hours...hahaha!

Seriously great picture of you! If I looked like that in a bikini, I would be plastering that pic everywhere. Go, girl. :)

Thank you!

Already seeing a noticeable difference around you waist. Can I ask a technical question? How do you do the split screen photos?

Planning and preparing food and laying out clothes for the gym and work the night before are the things that work best for me. That way, I have no excuses for doing the things I want to do the next day.

Hi - 5'5" and losing 40. Feel free to add me!

Oh, and I just joined and am looking for friends if anyone wants to add me. Can use the support and promise to give it back.

I agree that last winter was so much worse. A hat and scarf are really key to keeping warm. I was doing an experiment to see what weight coat I really needed, up until this latest cold front, and you would be surprised: layers under a light coat plus scarf and hat keep you very warm, even just going to the subway or bus.…

I agree. Congratulations!

Awesome job! Your back pictures have inspired me - to think that I can lose the back fat would be so fantastic. :)
-
Fabulous.
-
AMAZING!
-
Wow- what did you do to correct it?
-
Great job! You look wonderful.

WOW!

*This*. You don't realize how quickly your body adapts, so you always need to push it. I use a heart rate monitor and am doing mostly high incline walks (some running), and your heart rate will get up there, even walking at < 4 mph, if the incline is high enough. I used to think mileage was the goal on a treadmill, but…

40 and a few months, just started MFP. Anyone can feel free to add me as a friend, but bear with me as I am still learning the ropes of the community side of MFP. (I think I have the journaling okay!)
