Congratulations!!! You're on your way!!

You can change your calories by going to your goals and changing the amount of calories you want to lose in a week.

Mostly, I'm just keeping within my calorie intake goals and I try to walk 4 miles within a day 4 to 5 days a week. I do a few push ups and 30 pound dumbbell exercises every other day just to keep the muscles active.

Thanks!!

Thank you!!

All I want to do is eat when I drink, so I only drink one or two beers now and it gets logged as part of my calorie intake

Thank you!! It hasn't been easy, I really like to eat :D

It all depends on your goals, if you are trying to lose weight, cut back on the workouts and focus on cutting calories. If you are trying to gain muscle/strength then you shouldn't be focused so much on weight loss.

You have to experiment a little and find what works best for you. That being said, try to get your range narrowed down, 1700 calories are probably too many for you in a day. I'd reel that back some but eat satisfying foods, you don't want to feel like you're depriving yourself.

I do it daily, first thing in the morning but I realize that there will be fluctuations.

I've got arthritis in my knees and losing the weight has helped tremendiously, also my left leg used to go numb when I would sit. I no longer have that to contend with.

What an inspiration!!! Congratulations!
