  • I can relate! But, it's so nice to have MFP friends to help with support. Feel free to add me.

  • My advice is make friends on MFP for support and accountibility. Good luck on your journey. I wish you health and happiness!!!
  • So happy for you. I bet you are already feeling great. I don't really love exercise but it really does make me feel good afterwards. I just reached a 20 lb loss this morning. Feeling great! My goal is to lose 15 lbs to get to 185, then 35lbs to get to 150, then finally the last 20 lbs to get to 130. Trying to break it up…
  • Accountability really helps me succeed. I like stepping on the scale every Sunday morning and logging in my losses (and sometimes gains). I know it will show up on my feed and my friends will see it posted there. Also, pre-planning my meals have helped me a lot! No more binging when I am starving. Now at meal or snack…
  • Thanks for info!
  • I agree. When I first started with MFP I had a hard time controlling my portion sizes. It's nice to know the serving sizes are all built into the MFP app. I still eat what ever I want but just in moderation and stick to serving sizes. I have also learned that veggies have fewer calories, more nutrition and keep me fuller…
  • Good for you! Great job. Keep it up. All that hard work is paying off already. I have really found a lot of success by getting friends on MFP. I like the accountability and reading others struggles and successes. I like motivating and being motivated by others. Good luck in your weight loss journey. Anyone can feel free to…
  • I actually really like the walk at home videos from Leslie Sansone. I get a really good sweat with the 45 minute video. I am trying to aim for 3 times a week. Unfortunately I can only find time at about 4am in the morning before I start my day. But I have to say, it really pumps me up and keeps me energized all day.
  • Anything is possible. Stick to it and you will reach your goals. Just always remember why you started and keep your mini goals in mind. Preparing meals and snacks before hand always worked well for me. That way, the food is right there ready for me to eat and I am not left starving rummaging through trying to find…
  • Wow. This all sounds just like I go through. I think about food constantly. I do good for a couple of days then end up binging. Feel horrible after and then start the whole cycle over again. Anyone can feel free to add me. I am very interested to hear how everyone does. Good luck to you all!
  • Congratulations on your decision to live a healthier lifestyle! Good luck in your weight loss journey! Feel free to add me.

  • Feel free to add me. I am an open book. Happy to have like minded people to draw inspiration from.
  • A nurse who I visit every other week tells me to give in to my cravings, and then move on. Tomorrow is a new day. I had a craving for something sweet the other day and had a large helping of cooked broccoli (one of my favs). I felt full afterwards and the craving was gone. A handful of nuts work really well for me too. The…
  • Thank you! Weekdays are easy (easier) for me because I only eat what I bring to work. I try my best to ignore the temptation when co-workers or clients bring in sweet treats. Weekends are the hardest for me too. We are always on the go and like to treat ourselves to eating out. I agree, portion control is key! ;)
  • Weight Watchers definately works if you stick to it. I had lost 50 lbs before and know plenty of people who it worked for too. I got sick of paying the money and the points system lost it's charm after awhile. I liked the accountability the most. Like anything else, when you lose interest the weight comes back. MFP works…
  • Add me

  • I definately need accountability buddies. Add me!
  • Good job. Keep up the good work! Doesn't it feel good already! I am 15lb down and already feeling good. I need weight loss buddies to help me stay motivated and excited about this new healthy lifestyle. Add me if you would like! ;)
  • I am a shorty too, at only 5.0 ft. Add me if you want.
  • I am 38, 5.0ft, 202lb. Same problems! Very motivated at first but have those darn "cheat" days. Looking for some like minded peeps trying to live a more healthy life style. Feel free to add me.
  • Yes! Perfectly said! This is true for me too. Counting calories is easy at first but time consuming and loses its charm after awhile. I have the most success when I plan ahead, make lunches the night before. I even go as far as to enter all my food the night before for the entire day ahead so I don't need to stop to enter…
