Also, @explodingmango, where about in the country are you, if you don't mind me asking? I'm starting to try and plan my spartan races for next year, and if you want to try to do one somewhere mutual, let me know. Me and my wife are trying to do some together towards the end of next year, just a heads up.

Checking in. The last couple of days have been busy, but good. Started mixing up my routine at the gym, trying to include cardio and weights in a one hour period is frustrating and challenging, but it seems to be working. Instead of running for length in the mornings, I've been trying to up the speed with which I get a…

So I'll start off the week by sharing some news that has been keeping me a little pre-occupied the past two weeks. I am happy to announce that my wife is pregnant with our first child! Talk about more motivation... I now have a renewed vigor to change my life. I know that my responding and conversation here has been…

Morning everyone. Yesterday was decent. Still not back to jogging or running where I was, but I'm at least moving. I feel like I need to incorporate more lifting into my routine though. Food was decent, although I've had more bread in my diet lately than I want. Just want to reiterate what a great group of people you are.…

Yes I meant 50. Sorry not a math person. More history. Daily check in. I'm struggling with the exercise myself and logging my food. The past two weeks have had me more streseed than I can previously remember. The food I am eating has not been terrible but I have lacked in discipline in loging it and keeping track. Keep up…

I am updating a spreadsheet weekly. I need to post it here with a link or something for everyone to see.

Hey guys. Hope all is well. Gout is gone so happy to get to jog again. Not sure if any of you have experienced it but it is excruciating and so frustrating. This week ended up being more of a maintenance week for me. I'm no expecting the scale to move very much. Hope everyone is still staying strong. Fyreside feel free to…

Wednesday check in. Haven't been able to get to the gym this week because I had a gout flare up... super painful, super disappointing, and super stupid. My ankle is better though and should be back on track tomorrow or Friday. Revised goal for the week is log healthy food and keep posting and interacting here. Keep up the…

Checking in with everyone. Its been a whirlwind of a weekend, and I've been busy to say the least. I've been trying to check in here and stay active with the thread and conversation, but that had slipped quite a lot. I am so happy, excited, proud, and encouraged to see everyone on here making progress, staying connected,…

Late evening here. So pumped to see that it seems everyone is doing really well so far. We are competing against each other to make this fun and hold each other accountable but in the end we must remember is you vs you. As long as you improve yourself daily you have nothing to feel ashamed or embarrassed about. And I feel…

Awesome job fitness warriors. Looks like everyone is doing well so far. Got my food in but it was under 1200 calories... which is terrible. Not enough food. I'm a teacher and a coach so going through school and then football practice on little food has me exhausted. I did not get my exercise in today.... lots of catch up…

I believe that swimming uses your entire body in an exercise and therefore you burn more calories. Just my opinion, not exactly sure why. But great job , maintain that focus and discipline and keep moving forward.

Let's pull people along as much as we can, but like you said, it's their journey, and we can only encourage from a digital platform. It's up to each person to take the necessary effort to achieve their goals. Let's be as supportive as we can and pull people with us.

Fyreside, my fitbit said that I did enough exercise to earn an extra 2100 calories today. I don't buy that, cause being honest, my daily allowance from MyFitnessPal is 2300 calories. I just don't believe that I "earned" a whole day's worth of calories to consume on top of what I am supposed to consume per day. In the past,…

Awesome job fitness warriors. So happy to see people posting and interacting and keeping their discipline about themselves. I got back on track today big time, up early, got a 1.75 mile run in and then walked for a total of 55 minutes of cardio, 3.25 miles total. Completed my food log, under calorie count. Not the food…

Welcome. Don't think of failure as a negative thing. Think of it as a learning experience, learning from what went wrong and adjusting your actions for the future. This community and tool is a great way to track your progress, tweaking your approach, diet, exercise, and mindset on your future. I believe you can achieve…

Awesome job meat!! Keep it up! Great start. My steps were only 12,000 today. Entered my food but it wasn't like I wanted. Got my cardio in, but feel like I could do more or go harder. Didn't get a chance to get to the store so still scrounging around for food right now. Hitting the store tomorrow. Seems like everyone got…

What competition are you looking for?

I would like people to be active on here daily, just to hold everyone accountable. I would suggest dropping a post to say you have completed the daily exercise and food log to get the points, it makes it easier for me to check here than having to check everyone individually. So yeah, I would like everyone to at least drop…

I've invited people to be friends on here and highly encourage it. It allows you to see the person's daily log and see if they finished their journal for the day. It keeps us accountable.

Mango, what obstacle course races are you running in? I have done spartan races before and want to do others. Which one are you signed up for in a month? It would be awesome to see you at one. My wife wants to do one with me next year so we're trying to get that on the schedule.

Sorry guys I'm still at work. Thought I would be done early today. Might not be able to weight in until after 9. Just didn't want anyone to think I had forgot or was not trying. I'll post tonight.
