If you are drinking a ton of water all day, could be bloating. Watch your sodium intake as well.

Lemon, red wine vinegar, a little "garlic from the jar" and olive oil--it was one of the 21 day fix dressings and I love it. I have used it to marinate chicken then put the chicken in my George Forman grill.

I tried everything, but until I started using shakeology, I did not start loosing the weight. I have lost 20 pounds since October and have never felt better. I am not hungry, nor do I get the "shakes" or feel like I am on speed. "Then you weren't in a calorie deficit before. There's nothing whatsoever "magical" about…

I am in. My current weight is 149. My goal is 125. When I started (10/25/2015) I was at 169 and I had a goal of 130. I would like to be at 130 by the end of April with at least another pant size gone.

I found that if I only eat the 1200 calories I loose weight. I do not pay attention to the additional calories given for exercising.

Vanilla Shakeology for breakfast, Lunch: Mott's unsweetened applesauce snack size, 1 cup of homemade stewed greens with cubed chicken (kinda like collard greens with diced chicken and a can of diced tomatoes. I made a big batch yesterday for my lunches this week.)

Yes, I have experienced the same issues. For some reason it told me a recipe I created last night that included 1 cup of fresh mushrooms was 1540 calories, just for the mushrooms, so I had to adjust it, and then it was correct. Just watch the entries.

You ladies also look awesome, keep up the great work!

I am 55 years old and 4'10 1/4 and just got down to 150 from 169. My first goal is 130 and more tone, then will work for additional goals of about 120. Started on 10/25, missed by 20 pounds by Christmas goal by 4 pounds, but at least I lost 2 pant sizes and now in a medium shirt. I would love to see a size 8--truly don't…

Did you mean to say "happy to pay $50/year for MFP"? I don't pay anything--?? I did WW years ago as well, but quit because of the costs. I like MFP because of the APP and on-line abilities. Easier to track than WW.

Try to keep positive. If you haven't already done so, don't eat bread, rice or pasta during the week--you should see a big difference. Stick to homemade salad dressings--such as dijon mustard, stay away from as much canned or processed foods. That will also help. Being un-employed really sucks--I was there last year, took…

FYI, Shakeology isn't a 200-300 calorie shake either. I guess you haven't done your homework.

Actually my friend did not try to sell me anything. I saw her results--we have been friends for 30 years. My shake includes items I was already using in my breakfast plan, such as non-fat greek yogurt, Almond milk, fresh fruit, etc. I am no longer hungry before lunch, and don't require a 3 pm snack to make it through the…

I do Shakeology each morning, including weekends. Two nights during the week I do a shake just because they taste so good. I walk at least 30 minutes each morning before work, some evenings as well. Lost almost 20 pounds in less than two months. Will reach my goal by Christmas.

Shakeology is not a scam. It is a way of healthy eating. Have you tried it and failed? Is that why you feel it is a scam?

Try Shakeology. I have been using Shakeology for just under 60 days, I feel great, don't crave the foods that are not good for us. I also cut bread and pasta out of my meals. I am continuing to loose weight and feel great. I have a friend who introduced me to it as well, she has lost almost 40 pounds, and reduced her…

I managed not to eat any of the cheesecake in the office fridge today--success.

Well, I just saw this Sober September posting, wish I had seen on 9/1-- I have been trying to do this on my own and continue to fail. Seems I'll go 2-3 days without any beer, and then breakdown. I started with a plan of "no beer Sunday-Thursday, but seem to fail at that. I only manage to stay on track when I travel for…

I am 54, 4'10 3/4 (got to get the 3/4 inch in there) and horrified with my weight of 167 pounds. MFP has me at 1200.

Aldi is the best, the produce lasts longer than other stores. I have tried most everything--the low calorie yogurt is awesome. I don't believe there is anything I have tried that I wasn't happy with.
-
Pick me too. I need help with the encouragement to stay on track AFTER I leave work every day. I do great in the morning, begin with a one mile walk with my dog, eat low carb, high protein breakfast, good lunches, and 90% good eating at dinner---but there are those days that I get off track.
-
Yes, I have the same problem with beer. I actually just posted a board on it--I tend to have a couple of beers, then snacking goes crazy--all my hard work down the drain for the day.
-
That is awesome results. Keep up the good work.

I have been there, done that as well. I track all day, eating very well at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but seem to go downhill after that some days. Some days I feel if I went to bed at 6:30 every night I wouldn't fail.

Wow--just spent my lunch hour reading all the negative posts, rather than support to her for at least realizing she wanted to change and making the commitment. At least she set a goal! We all lose weight in our own way. At least she isn't having surgery to take care of it.
