I am 47 and have noticed it is very difficult to lose weight. You have to crank up the workouts a notch, get out of your comfort zone. I started a high intensity class, called body shock. Losing weight in your mid to late 40's sucks. You have to work so much harder! The things I used to do for weight loss don't work now. I'm 46, gonna be 47 on Friday & those pre-menopausal hormones are not kind to the hips and thighs!

Do you "eat back" exercise calories? Like if I burn 300 calories in a workout then MFP will add 300 calories to my total calories left to eat.
