We had a great race. With over 7,000 in the 5k even a wave start was hectic. But after the first quarter mile we found our way to the front and kicked it into gear. Finished with a 24:08 and 23 in my age division. Oh my son beat me by one second :)

I almost ran myself out of time to run the other night but I went out for a quick 2 miler. Found myself easily sprinting most of the two miles and still felt great at the finish. Great goal! I'm trying to up my weekly mileage up to 20 as well. I find if I rely on running after work I always miss my target. Life always gets in the way. The key for me is to do the morning runs. Its hard this time of year though because I so enjoy running in the warm sun. Good luck.
