We got a little more info from the teacher. I think we can avoid a conference if things keep going how they are now. Basically the students test into two zones, a high and low zone. And Then have to keep in that zone for 70% of the class. In my daughters case that is a HR of 135 or 14 or 17 minutes (I can't remember). The…

Feel free to add me. I need all the support I can get to hit the streets in this arctic weather. mmabry on GC.

Yes I am sure the PE grade is factored in but I will be double check on this. Thanks for the thought.

Thanks for the input so far. We have had several e-mails this past week. The next step is a face to face. But we need more information before going in. They apparently wear the HRM's during class and there is a monitor that shows each students HR through out the class. She took a test and got put into the group of students…

You guys hitting it hard in the sub zero temps are some crazy mothers! I called it quits after 2 miles yesterday because I couldn't feel my toes, fingers or face and it was only 9º (5 windchill). Saturday I did run 3 miles in 22mph sustained winds. THat was a good burn :) And still had an average pace under 9 minutes! 1…

Hi gang, I was an off and on jogger for many years. I typically jogged 3 or 4 times a month, 2 miles each time and only when the weather and stars aligned. I would try to do a 5k or 2 a year as well. I started jogging to help my kids get up to speed in cross country. They are now both way faster than me so I am back to…

I'm in for 50! Its going to be a challenge in this short cold month.

Its a great program. I went through it a year ago. I just dug it back out and am doing different workouts for my off days of running.

That does look nice. That is actually what I was hoping the Apple watch would be like.

Only had to shovel out once so far this year. I didn't keep track but probably 20-30 min worth of cardio :)

I like the way you think!
