Ween off. I cut added sugar out as much as possible. I have a little chocolate and stuff here and there. First I switched from regular milk to almond milk. Then I started mixing unsweetened with sweetened. I can now drink unsweetened cashew and flax milk and it doesn't bother me at all. My major sweet tooth was sweet…

Love my Brooks, will definitely buy them when these wear out.

I would post this in the tech support area at the bottom of the forums. I would help but I dont know anything about misfit. Sorry.

I only buy organic, and still wash. Organic can still use organic pesticides that are non-toxic to humans, like safer soap, neem oil. They also can still use shellac and food grade wax. The best is to buy from a local farmers market where you can ask the grower directly. I do prefer keeping the peels. Get a soft toothbrush…

I have 2 that I love but they are not fruity. I love lots of avocado with a big slice of red pepper. And I love mixing pb with raw coconut butter and a little honey.

cause you got the magic in you, don't you?

I will get crucified but..whatever. If you are not used to drinking a whole lot of water it can make you feel sick sometimes. I am horrible at it. I used to only drink anything but water, pop, milk, juice, tea. It took some time to get used to getting rid of all that. I still have to make myself drink throughout the day.…

I know I had a problem with my blood sugar after I bought my juicer. My blood sugar started just shooting up in the mornings and it was from an obscene amount of fructose. Eating the fruit isn't near as bad but that much all day every day is probably not good.

You have to saturate with it first before it really has any effect, and then maintain that saturation after. It does make a difference in lifting and endurance.

A problem with a lot of vegetarian food is what is in it. A lot of them use starches to make up for other stuff. That can wreck havoc on your blood sugar and lead to gain. I eat a mostly plant based diet and whole grain carbs. I eat meat but very limited and ethically sourced. A lot of snack foods are designer junk foods.…

Were in NorCal? I am in the Redding area for a few more weeks, would really love some one to hike/walk with.

I have been using So delicious French Vanilla, its a coconut creamer. I love it, and I used to like a ton of sugar and cream.

That's so sweet!

By your info at light exercise, 1-3 times a week TDEE whould be a little over 2000, it goes up to 2200 for moderate. I would recommend eating at 1700-2000 if you are going to workout for an hour a day. Do you do lift any weights? I would start doing some deadlifts, some squats, some lat pulldowns, and some pullups, also…

I have fallin in love with cauliflower rice with a small amount of butter, onions and asiago cheese. I am totally hooked.

I weigh all the time. But I only weigh on Sundays for my progress weight. I don't freak out when it fluctuates. It actually helped me find my sweet spot of calorie goals.

My advice, ditch the 1200 calorie thing unless you are around 120 lbs. Go to this site: http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html and enter in your stats. Take that number and multiply by 0.85 and eat that amount. Make sure you choose the correct activity level. If you have a significant amount to lose…

Oh ditch the trainer please. Any trainer that knows what they are doing is not going to tell you to detox.

Hi Brenda, after kind of crunching you numbers I came up with 1500-1700 for your stats. Assuming you do light to moderate work. Try at this calorie goal for a few weeks and the weight should come off easily. You should lose a lb to 2 lbs a week. Its not exact. The sugar amount mfp gives you is very hard to stay under as…

Oh, so sorry. I make a big breakfast and usually have a lot of fat in the mornings and that keeps me feeling good all day and I don't feel the need to binge at night anymore. My go to in the morning for one person is one slice of bacon panfry and diced. Toss in some chopped onion, peppers and whatever veggies you have like…

Are you scared about using the weights/machines and not knowing what you are doing? Or scared you won't look like you know what you are doing? Maybe try to find the deadest time and see if one of the front desk will show ya some things. Usually they are way nice and more than willing to help. Do you need help figuring out…

Maybe try this stuff. http://naturalvitality.com/natural-calm/ Magnesium levels can affect sleep duration and depth. Also balance your calcium as well. When you start taking in more fluids it can change your normal electrolyte balance. The lemon raspberry stuff you do have to water down pretty good. And sometimes it can…

When my mom was on a restricted diet we found her brommel and brown yogurt spread. It is expeller pressed with no cholesterol and was doctor approved. Its a butter margerine substitute. No hydrogenated oils. It is great on dishes you would use butter in, but it does not work well for panfrying or sauteeing, stuff will…

Gratz! I am hoping to be able to run soon after I get a little more weight off.

Its a strange consistancy, kind of crumbly but also a little gel like. It's hard to explain. I tried it with panfried tofurkey kielbasa and now can't eat either one without the other.

OMG have you ever had it on thai food with glass noodles and coconut cream sauce! The best ever. Also try mixing it with raw coconut butter and a little cashew milk as a fruit spread or on toast. It is pure heaven.
