One that contributes to why a lot of people are here is sugar. You know it is subsidized and we have to buy all the sugar produced by the US. Look into why it is in everything, and they effects on the general population by consumption.

When a woman says she doesn't want to get "bulky" What most people think she means: What she actually means: It would be so easy if there weren't emotional implications as well. There is a reason people refer to "mind, body, spirit". You really need unity of them all to succeed.

I love making spaghetti and lasagna and freezing. I have these great little anchor dishes that I can bake single servings of lasagna and freeze them, I always add more veggies for filling in them and go easy on the cheese. I also love to make quinoa. It freezes very well. If you want a recipe pm me. The quinoa can be made…

I am so in love with Dave's killer bread thins, good seed and power seed. Also I like to make my own at home. I like to add this cereal to bread and muffin mixes: http://www.hodgsonmillstore.com/en/cereals/multi-grain-cereal-with-quinoa-flax-71518-01044-001_group It gives it a real grainy, homestyle taste. I like dense…

Get yourself a mortar and pestle, and a coffee grinder. Then go buy fresh dried rosemary, thyme, fennel, curry powder and tarragon. Also buy some raw sunflower and sesame seeds. I use the grinder for the herbs only, no coffee. The fennel has to be ground pretty fine, same with the rosemary. The sesame seeds are great if…

I try to eat veggies that taste like stuff thats bad for you. Like recently I just tried the cauliflower rice substitute. It is so good and tastes like its bad. Grate a bunch of cauliflower and dice a bunch of onion. Heat a skillet on low-med with a tsp of olive oil or butter (real butter) Toss in your veggies and saute…

I don't think I could ever go vegan myself, but am kind of heading that way. I am trying not to eat processed or cured meat. Eventually I want to raise my own food, so I know what it is fed and how it is raised, and how it is killed. I want to keep my own bees like my grandparents did. I support farm sharing for raw milk,…

If you can, try stopping at truck stops like Love's, Pilots, Travel Centers and use their microwaves. I buy the little cartons of box milk to take, they are shelf stable. You can buy Horizon Organic 1% and I buy for me Silk. You can usually find them in the box alternative milk section. I will use those also for cereal. I…

I have read articles that talked about a study that showed uphill inclined walking/hiking works the back better than things like back extensions. I am not sure what grade of incline they studied. What part did you throw out?

Sounds like 1500-1600 calories is more your sweet spot mark. It took me a while to find mine. If I eat right I will lose about .1 to .2 of a pound every day. If I eat to little, it doesn't matter what I do, the scale wont budge. Right now 1900 cals is my sweet spot.

I aim for 1500-1900 on days I don't do anything. After my broken toe heals and I can do some good workouts I will bump it up to 2200ish. I m 5'3 and at 210 this mornin. My BMR runs around 1900ish. TDEE around 2200ish.
