Perhaps this is the weight your body wants to be? You're certainly not overweight. Just keep doing what you're doing- obviously you're slimming down if measurements are falling. I feel for you, I've stopped asking questions here because of the whole 'you're not weighing accurately' mantra/assumption. And really, telling…

I feel so badly for you guys teaching in the US who work such crazy hours and have second jobs. Wtf??? We have a good Union movement here in oz so teachers are paid well and have decent conditions. Honestly, kudos to you all. Back on topic, I tub up my lunches the night before and also have little weighed bags of nuts for…

No way is that 100g of carbs, closer to 30g. I think you're inputting inaccurate data.

I have chobani for brekky, big home made tuna and salad for lunch, some sort of meat/fish and veg/salad for dinner, which leaves some calories for a glass or two of wine and a piece of dark chocolate at night! I make all my food at home, it's just too hard to hit the calorie accuracy with outside food that you can't weigh.…

I think she means factory/manufacturing plant.

Ok, thanks folks, diary is back to private. Rather than continue to reiterate that I am indeed weighing and logging everything, I will look to my sodium and alcohol intake. Thanks for these tips before the nitpicking kicked in at least!

Prelogging then not eating said item. I'm sorry but really some people reply without reading. Either way I am not going above 1200 with one exception. It really feels like people here are determined to explain everything with the old, you're not weighing, underestimating etc.

I really can't. If anything I'm overestimating. I've said a number of times that I weigh absolutely everything that goes into my mouth. Believe me, there is no cheating, if anything, if you take off prelogged salmon, some of those days are significantly lower than what I've logged. I'm 5'4" and 45. I have not been able to…

Your daily caloric intake is too high. Looking back at your diary, you are consistently over. If you want to lose weight every week you have to give up some of those calories unfortunately. January 15, 2015 9:24AM With all due respect, you must be looking at someone else's diary. I've been over once significantly and once…

Alcohol is a really tough one for me. I could and would drink a few glasses every night. The reason I thought calorie counting would work for me is so I can factor them in. I'm trying to limit to one social night a week.....this then becomes a blowout! The chocolate and noodles I guess are comfort foods, a small square…

I do eat a lot of salt, as you can see, most nights I stirfry seafood with soy, fish sauce etc. maybe I need to find something else- pull out the coconut aminos from the old Paleo days!!

Thanks!! Makes sense, just keeps you motivated when the scales actually move. Noelfigart1, that graph is amazing!! Even with all the jumping around I can see you're on a steady course downward.

Plain chobani with a few blueberries.

Yeh, I forgot I was exhausted most of my whole 30, this was before white potatoes were allowed. Luckily I don't exercise because I would come home from work and just lie around buggered most nights. Probably like the cave man, lol.
-
Also to add, I actually love meat and eggs and even I got sick of them!

I did a whole30 last year at the start of going Paleo and lost 5kgs (11lbs) in that time. I stayed paleo (but less strict) and slowly dropped another 2.5kgs which brought me to my goal. It is very restrictive and you get sick of eating, basically, so calories are very low which probably explains the weight loss. I used to…
