I'm 5"2 and just under 160lbs, I could use some friends :)

Congratulations on the baby! Hopefully you can learn to enjoy beer without binging as it'd be awful to cut out something you love, good luck on your journey.

Also from the UK here :) I'm in the Midlands. Feel free to add me, I don't have many friends yet

1200 is the lowest calorie intake anyone should have, why do you want to stay under it? You can drink and loose weight but some alcoholic drinks have quite a few calories in them, you would need to log them the same as anything else.

My response was going to be very similar to the post above, but they already said it all. You really do just need a bit of willpower rather than spending money on a plan that will likely make you a bit miserable with how much it restricts you.

I had a fitbit flex for xmas, I really like it but as above poster said it only tracks steps (and sleep) where some of the more expensive ones do more. My fitbit works perfectly, my sister uses a fitbit one and that works great too. I can't comment on any other trackers as I've not known anyone who owns one.

I have the same with my partner, he tells me I'm beautiful as I am and it gives me chance to rationalise eating badly as "well he thinks I look great anyway...". He also likes to buy me chocolate, I need to retrain him as much as myself! :)

Lots of people getting back on the wagon, lets all hold a bit tighter this time! :)

Well best of luck to both of you for the following year
