  • I'm 5ft1 currently 205, I got down to 180 2 years ago but not sure I'll ever be at my 125 max ideal weight.
  • My exercise bike and strength exercises in the comfort of my home on days I don't ride x
  • I'd end up face planting x
  • I have IBS, prior to my lifestyle change I'd have at least one rushed watery poo a day sometimes 3 or 4 in a day. Now I am going only 3-4 times a week; however, they are more solid and sometimes a little hard to pass with stomach cramps. I have been on the diet nearly 6 weeks so think my body is just adjusting, I sought…
  • I *kitten* myself at hospital discovering that mine is around 58, clearly I'm fitter than I look.
  • 2 X 5kg dumbells just arrived in the post, time to up my game x
  • I just noticed this, but really want TGI Fridays for a date next weekend. I'd have to go 3500 calories over my my weekly goal though to ruin that week? I don't want to just stick to JD Wetherspoons etc x
  • I only eat back my calories if it drops be below about 1300 calories a day x
  • I lost 8lbs by week 3 and seemed stuck around 8-9lbs lost until week 5 I've suddenly dropped again and have lost almost 12lbs. I don't know why but it seems pretty normal.
  • I know I need to stop being scared of fat lol I have very little saturated fat and some fat I eat isn't healthy fat but the majority does come from yoghurts, chicken, eggs, fish.
  • Thank you that makes a lot of sense, I do cardio through horse riding and using a stationary bike. My job (10 hours a week) involves mucking out, filling and hanging haynets so is heavy work but I squat too (although my weights are far too light) I work out at home as can't afford a gym but from what you've said I should…
  • I don't need to accept you, and I've not time for games. So go and find something constructive to do.
  • I weigh myself daily but don't log it, I accept the fluctuations and usually know why (no poop, too much sodium) but I hate seeing in on my little graph thing.
  • At your age I'd have thought you would have got past the need to belittle and patronise those who may not be as knowledgeable as you think you are, and instead learned to use that knowledge to guide those who want to learn. Negativity and belittling does not help those who are working hard to find out more about their…
  • I just find so much conflicting info, eg apparently carbs are awful things etc I rarely go over fat but don't seem to get as much protein as I probably should because I worry I'll go over my fat allowance. I eat a lot of chicken, rarely red meat, I eat fish twice a week too so probably should stop worrying about maybe…
  • No need to be a sarcastic know it all, we are all here to learn!!
  • I had a curry on Thursday, it was within my calories but had a lot of sodium in it. Yesterday I weighed in and was at my lowest so far but knew that today I'd be up as I worked out yesterday too, and I was indeed up almost a lb.
  • I'm just trying to the best with what I've equipment and space I've got, so you suggest heavier weights?
  • I eat back if it drops me below about 1300 calories for that day, my goal is 1730 x
  • I don't want to end up hench :o I thought about working up to 5kg lol but you may have a point, the buckets of water I carry are probably pretty heavy so I may be under estimating my strength.
  • 'Are you allowed to eat that?' Yes, it fits in my calories, this isn't a diet it is a lifestyle change. or shop assistants 'Do you want this giant bar of chocolate for £1' Makes me realise why so many of us end up fat in the first place. 'You're obsessed with counting calories and weighing everything'
  • So I'm on the right track with squats, I can't afford a gym membership but I can do lunges at home and presses. Anything that will help my bingo wings too?
  • I have cheat meals, once a week I'll allow dinner out or KFC but try to eat less during the day so I stay within my calories but if I don't then so be it. I have lost 10lbs in 5 weeks so it's not holding me back as the rest of the week I stay about 200-400 under my calorie goal. This is the rest of my life, I'm not going…
  • Thank you for the support, my eating is good and I'm enjoying it so I'm not eating sad salads all day I'm still getting treats to fit in my calories. I guess today I just realised that if I had sorted my emotions out months ago and got into a similar routine I'd not be in this mess. Glad it's not just me that struggles. I…
  • My goal is 1730 to lose 1lb a week, TDEE is almost the same. I tend to be round the 1400 mark though unless I'm working then I bump it up as my job is very physical x
  • I went to Sainsburys and put 10lbs of butter in my basket, made me feel a bit more positive. I guess it's just a long slow process, just feels like I gained weight faster than I'm losing it and I have to consider everything I eat xx
  • I do some form of exercise every day. I work part time in a very physical job, horse ride twice a week, use my stationary bike and strengthening exercises. Today I've been out for a brisk walk, a total of 6000 steps so I don't think it's lack of exercise x
  • I thought maybe I was breathing in lol but that's a bit rounding up/down gap in about 30 seconds. I'm getting weighed for my depo on Monday but will ask if they are certified. My local boots has scales but I like to weigh wearing very little x
  • I have 17inch calves, even losing weight doesn't shrink them. I'm always complimented on the shape of my legs so have learned to love them x
