Hoka got me running again after some foot problems. The extra cushion made my feet feel so much better during a run, I just bought my second pair. Mine are the Arahi 3's.

Did the donate life 5K on Saturday, haven't run for quite a while and it was great to be able to run the whole thing. Today after work I plan on an hour on the bike trainer.

I've found that for me the change is the mindset and the rest comes pretty easy. One big change I've made that seems to be helping me is exercising in the morning before I go to work. If I start out on the right track it's easier to stay with it. Best of luck.

Sounds like you have the plan in place. I would say don't focus on the end goal but the daily work of just getting healthy. Good for you!

All I can say is what is working for me. Focus on exercise and nutrition and the rest just kind of happens all on its own. I find if I put in the exercise, I don't want to screw up the nutrition because of the effort I put out on the exercise. Kind of a little game I play with myself.

I weigh daily, first thing in the morning. I think it helps with my focus.
