Hi guys,
I’ve been on the weight loss train since 2014 and very nearly hit my overall 12stone (168lb) target. (I’ve been breaking it down into weight and occasions) I’d even successfully maintained a good weight for 12 months, however since 3 months prior to my wedding and in the 6 months after I’ve been steadily gaining weight and I’m now 1.5 stone (about 18lb) over my ideal weight. Today is my line in the sand, but I think I need help, both to lose the weight and maintain! Anyone similar? Or want to join in?

All I can say is what is working for me. Focus on exercise and nutrition and the rest just kind of happens all on its own. I find if I put in the exercise, I don't want to screw up the nutrition because of the effort I put out on the exercise. Kind of a little game I play with myself.1

Hi Sara, thank you; i've posted on there; I shall try to keep to it!
Tim, thank you, that's good advice! I'd been sticking to 1 weight and I'd been happy, but I'm assuming I got complacent, but the not screwing up exercise with nutrition mistakes is a good way to look at it!0 -
I was the same way. In 2015 I was up to 247.8. I started doing Profile by Sanford & I got down to 199.1. My biggest problem was that I had shoulder surgery & I couldn't wait to get back to the gym so I could lift weights. I hovered around the 205-210 range. Gradually I didn't put the effort into eating right & on January 20th, 2018 I was up to 235 pounds. I decided to get back on Profile & this time I joined 9Rounds. Now I'm down to 198.4 & going strong. I have no desire to go back & hit the weights hard like I was doing. I may go back to doing some lifting, but this morning I decided to try pull-ups after 9Rounds & I was able to do 10 without stopping & I was only able to do about 7 at a time before. You truly cannot out work a poor diet.0
