  • Oooo, sounds good! You should give this an official unique name and enter nutritional details so we can all log it on MFP. Can recipes be public?
  • Are you sure 2100 calories is high enough? If you're working out a lot, which it sounds like you are, then you really need to log everything and make sure you are eating back the calories burned. In terms of snacks maybe try comfort foods last thing at night like porridge, banana, glass of milk and cookies before bed?
  • Hi there. I'm trying to regain weight after abdominal surgery and have been recommended by doc to eat high protein. I'm trying to get back to 120 from 112. I don't really want to just regain weight by eating high fat foods. Are you interested in nutrition or just gaining full stop? For healthy weight gain I'm finding that…
  • I use FryLight "One Cal" spray which is one calorie per squeeze and MFP has it stored as a product. I usually use 5-15 sprays for most things.
  • Not tried omelette this way, but when I was a nanny the kid's mom would cook up scrambled eggs the night before and leave for me to reheat. You really couldn't tell the difference.
  • Hi ashbaby2390. I'm not trying to gain but I am at a healthy weight already so am mostly trying to get fitter rather than lose a lot of weight. I'd be happy for you to add me as a friend if you'd like some encouragement and support this year! I think 10 pounds sounds like a good amount to start with. Good luck!
  • We use "I can't believe it's not butter - light" for sandwiches when dieting, but I still use real butter where you can taste it, like on fresh bread or toast. I just weigh it out and try to use smaller amounts such as 5g per slice.
