Totally check out a Zumba instructor (or two, or three!) in your area. a lot of them offer drop-in passes or multiple classes upon sign up at a discounted rate. Other than that, the drop-in rates are usually around $8-12 depending on the coach. also check to see if they offer a first class free. If a few of them do, check…

I appreciate all of the information! @Branstin, I will tell her to ask her Endo for a referral to a good dietician that specializes. :) Thank you everyone!

She has already checked with her Medical Dr, and Endocrinologist.

I drink infused water. If you're not ingesting the fruit or veggies, don't count them, it's very diluted anyways. I usually throw few frozen blueberries into mine in the morning on the way to work. It's a yummy pick-me-up before my tea! Try not to add too much lemon or lime to your water. It may be good to drink, but it…

If you're doing a potluck - make Matcha Lemon Cupcakes. Use a white cake mix, make as directed on box, add 2 tbsp matcha and 1 tbsp grated lemon peel. And add a tsp or two to the frosting as well. Delicious! I've also poached fish in matcha, and it's really good mixes with spices as a rub for your meats, too! Mix with…

We've all had many different A-Ha moments, but there is always one where really kicks your *kitten*. My Real A-Ha moment was when I went for my routine physical in December and found my blood pressure was in the high range. It has never been in the high range. I left the office crying and a prescription for blood pressure…

I haven't told anyone, except a close friend who works out and trains for specific events. She's been really good for support aside from MFP. My Husband noticed I've been changing my eating habits, and I told him that I was becoming more conscious of what I put in my body. He's totally on board with eating better, which is…

All these suggestions are wonderful. Let me hone in on my dilemma a little more: I work front desk and am not allowed to have "meals" at the desk. I also meal prep, so I always have my lunches planned out. I'm glad you all have been great with giving suggestions on ideas! :)

OMG! I love some of these answers! I'm laughing so hard at my desk! people think I'm nuts! At least I'm burning calories too!

Half an avocado, garlic powder, half a can of No Salt Added chickpeas, squeeze of lime, salt & pepper to taste. Sooo good! I've had this on bread and over lettuce and veggies. Super quick to mash up at work.

Mmmmm....bread! I love the stuff! Ezekiel is my favorite too. When I get crazy and decide to bake a loaf, I love making Whole Wheat and Honey, or Red River Cereal breads. I prefer baking more because then I know what my ingredients are, and I can control what is added or eliminated.

Feel free to add me! I am looking to lose 50-70 lbs overall, but my first goal is 15 lbs. Chocolate and baking are my kryptonite...

You are more than welcome to add me too! :)
