Baked then put some cooked ground beef, bell peppers and onions, a little hot sauce or hot peppers and either some plain yogurt or a fried runny yolk egg on the top.

Workout clothes and shoes, heart rate monitor, smaller workout items like a yoga mat and a more cushioned mat, cheap adjustable dumbells, kettle bells, hand weightsn for when I do marching in front of the tv, nice protein mixer cups and good water bottles, hiking equipment....I'm basically stocking up on things I find…

I can't get past the "cream" filling. It's vegetable shortening (like crisco) with some sugar and vanilla extract. :s

My best is making extra at dinner and freezing some portions. Then I end up with variety. Meatballs are always great to stock up on! I make tons (use smaller ice cream scoop to control portion) and freeze them. They reheat well to either eat alone, on pasta, on veggies, in a sandwich, in soup, etc. So much variety from 1…

I've never liked them and have always wondered why anyone does lol. I also saw them on that how's it made show and just ewww even more.

It really depends on what else you eat. Other things do have potassium in them but it's something you'll have to track yourself since it's missing from a lot of entries. You can create and use your own food entries on this site. Research & enter the potassium in what you eat and then it will show up on nutrition facts.…

I made 2 packages tofu shirataki noodles with a few laughing cow lite swiss wedges, nutritional yeast and salt and cayenne pepper (not my recipe). I still have plenty of lunch calories if I get hungry again after all that so I'll either have some meat as a second lunch or I'll have a bigger dinner.

It's not required on packaging so it doesn't get entered into MFP a lot of the time. Best you can do is a little research on your own for what you are eating to get a more accurate potassium count. Chances are you get plenty.

Check serving size and also I have noticed some products have changed nutritional/calorie information recently but not by 100 calories usually. I've noticed a difference in enough products to sit back and go hmm what's up lol. (Stuff I've logged since early last year and knew info from then and now)

Yep I agree with protein. I do better with a hunk of some kind of lower calorie meat and then I'm good until dinner. I usually go for fish filet or some chicken breast if at home, or jerky if I'm out somewhere.

I love going to the Asian market and getting greens and other things. Sometimes I have to Google items to find out what they are and if I'd like it and is it something I can prepare. The greens I lightly cook with salt and sometimes a little garlic or some type of Asian sauce that fits the flavor profile of my meal. There…

I can fluctuate several pounds a day but my record is 12 lbs. I weighed right before a several mile hike and then also weighed next morning and I was up 12lbs. It was all gone within a few days. I only weighed myself then out of curiosity B). I don't worry about few up and down daily since I know when I'm in a deficit and…

Maybe look into making your own sausage patties with a basic recipe. Then you can have some of the flavors and you can put much less salt to fit your needs.

+1 I was slender most of my life so I also know what weight I look healthy at and that I do have a large frame. I have never used it as a reason I got fat - that's a whole other issue. As a teenager I had a temporary health issue (not ed) that caused me to drop weight fast and not in a healthy way. I was STILL in the…

I put on my favorite concert t-shirt (pat benatar) and it's loose on me! When I got it 2 years ago I got the largest they had (3x) and it was tiny and tight. I normally had no issues with a 3x other than things being short waisted or weird sleeves. Now what is probably actually a true 1x is big on me  I've haven't…

I know the spoons are readily available with higher quality/cost silverware sets but I just did a quick search on amazon and it brought some less expensive ones up. Eta I did a search for "grapefruit spoons"

I forgot about shoulder pads LOL. I couldn't wear them either without looking ready to hit the field for some football. And waists....even being overweight now I have to take my pants in at the waist or I'm constantly hiking them up and belts don't work because then they are all bunched up and look/feel horrible.
-
I slice it in half and roast mine without any sugar added. It's amazing when it's cooked. I like to eat it like an orange too. I LOVE grapefruit. I wish it wasn't so expensive here.

I have never been to one that allows it. At our local theater we regularly see people eating entire fast food meals they bought somewhere else LOL. We usually bring our own candy if we want any. Bottled water too. If we buy popcorn it's eaten by the time the movie starts. Gotta have a big movie purse.

I have a large frame. I'm 6' tall + a little. It has nothing to do with me being overweight. Football shoulders, 8" wrist even at my ideal weight....how I wish I could wear off the rack clothes without having to go a size or more up and then make alterations and all those beautiful bangles they sell and I never will wear…

Our water is disgusting here (small rural NC town) so we filter it with Brita pitchers. Occasionally I buy bottled water.

I always describe that as freedom :). Happy to see you get this boost!

I don't know about a specific cookbook, but skinnytaste.com has some great recipes that are lower calorie and still delicious. Wide variety of dishes. When I first started I was a volume eater, so I found dumping what I cooked onto a big pile of various greens helped. I had a lot of food to chew and it took awhile to eat…

I actually look younger as I'm losing. Genetics and taking care of my skin. My family gets wrinkles later than most. I saw my first in early 40s (and I wasn't very heavy like I am currently). I agree going too low in weight makes anyone look old and gaunt. You look great. Maybe they were jealous? Lol

I personally don't like a typical spaghetti sauce on squash but some people do. I prefer a spicier sauce with it because the squash is sweet. It's worth a try I guess. Pasta was one of my biggest weaknesses so I avoided it completely until I had better control. I would put my share of sauce/meat on a nice bed of mixed…

I'm prepping for our hike on Friday by making my dog a backpack so he can carry his own things. It's a small thing since it's not necessary to have but it's uplifting to do. I'll also take him on a long-ish walk later to work on his training more - 2 yr old 90lb german shepherd so it's got to be right. He's never been…

It sounds perfectly reasonable and healthy. I'm a touch over 6' and 180 is my ultimate goal. I can get to 165 as my absolute lowest but that makes me extremely skinny on my large frame and I'd rather retain more muscle - plus I've had 3 kids since the last time I was under 180 lol. I can be as high as 250 wearing a size 16…

I haven't felt guilt for eating something I thought I would have to give up to lose weight. Instead it was incredibly freeing knowing I could eat anything as long as I kept track and stayed in my calories and I'd be ok.

String cheese and other already portioned cheeses, box of 100 calorie packs of nuts - almonds with walnuts are my favorite, pretzels in the snack size, fruit, veggies that are good raw like bell peppers, pickles of various flavors, crackers I usually get portioned packs because it is convenient and keeps me in check with…

I weigh one slice in each loaf then go by that. I've had some be 1.5 times the weight the package says and if a slice is 120 cal by listed weight then another 60 cal is a big difference. 2 slices for a sandwich and it all starts lol.... +1 to jemhh's math post
