Abilene! Texas is my heart and soul!

I'm with @Naboo325 on this. You've already done the hard part in realizing there's a problem and deciding to take charge. My ultimate weight loss goal is 114 pounds. It was incredibly intimidating at first and I honestly didn't think it was attainable. But now, I'm 52 pounds down and still working the rest off. As long as…

How much do you have to lose? What type of workouts are you going to do? Just don't give up!

I sometimes feels the same way. I've lost 46 pounds so far but still have 68 pounds to go! We can do it though!!!

Yes! I've had a similar experience. While I'm married and would never give in to an advance, it is a HUGE confidence booster! Congrats!

I've been an MFP member for 130 days and have lost 44.2 pounds. It feels amazing! I'm amazed everyday at the new things I can accomplish. I am a firm believer in "You can do whatever you set your mind to"! Good job on your weight loss! I still have a long way to go to get where I want to be and then a long road of…

My sister in law has the same problem with her Fitbit. I have a VivoFit as well but, my kids are older so I no longer use a stroller, and I've never paid attention to it when shopping. I think it's just only going to be accurate to a certain point unfortunately. I've noticed that sometimes while riding in a car that I get…

Same here! My friend swears by it but has never once posted a before and after of herself, just of random people that no one knows. And she always says things like "Talking to two girls now that want to join my team. Hurry, I only have one spot left!"... I've doubted it from the beginning!

I have the Garmin vivofit. I really really like it. And you don't have to charge it because the battery last up to a year. And, you can get it wet. To me, it's worth it just because of those two things.

I'm also a young mom, 29, with a 9 and 6 year old. Married, we both work, church, each kid is in a different sport, we go to the gym three days a week, and that just our weekly routine. That doesn't include visiting family, trying to go on a hike once a weekend, spending quality time with just the four of us, taking care…

I'm 29 5'3" and also have A LOT of weight to lose. I've lost about 15 pounds so far. This is my second go around on MFP. The first time I wasn't committed and gave up quickly. I've don't much better this time (started 2/19/16) and hope to keep up the momentum. I'll send you a friend request!

Well the consensus seems to be that these products are the devils work, so I think I'll steer clear! Thank you all!

I didn't even know they made specific running socks. I'm new to this whole exercise thing. Thank you guys!

I've tried the PB2 and REALLY REALLY liked it. I was just trying to find a cheaper product. I'm super cheap about EVERYTHING. But I think I'm just going to stick with PB2.

I feel like we all have very similar stories. I was on MFP a while back and was pretty successful and then just kind of fell of the wagon. I recently turned 29 and decided now is as good a time as any to get healthy.

If it's just myself, my husband, and our boys, we usually go hiking, fishing, play basketball... But when other friends and family are around we just kind of chill.

I never thought about it, but I guess I bank some of my weekly calories too. I'm fairly new to MFP. I usually go over by a few hundred...

Hey y'all, I'm Courtney from Texas. I'm 29, married with two very active boys, ages 9 and 6. I turned 29 in February and decided that "I'll lose weight later" needed to turn into "I'll lose weight now". I started working out and eating better (I don't like to call it dieting) exactly two weeks ago today. I go to my local…

I too am back for my second go around. I've been wanting to lose weight since I put it all on during my first pregnancy NINE years ago... I've tried a few times and done pretty good, but ended up giving up and reverting back to my "old ways". Well I turned 29 last month and realized that my goal of losing my excess weight…
