A pedometer app can be useful too, but check the sensitivity, I 'walked' 2, 000 steps on the bus. I do shifts and regularly do nights, I find swimming after a night shift helps me to sleep, my colleagues think I am nuts but I sleep much better when I have exercised, good luck

You get more health benefits from fasting for longer (but not days and days) but the beauty of 5:2 is that you make it fit you, I wait as long as possible to eat on a fast day as eating stimulates my appetite, but usually have an apple sliced thinly to take the edge off midafternoon and I can make that apple last hours.…

Yesterday's fast went bust after a difficult day at work but burned 957 cals today and really enjoying the clean buzz from exercise. Fast day tomorrow, probably only one this week as friends birthday weekend starts on Thursday Happy fasting everyone x

My fast went bust too, but sort of evened it out with 1000 cals of exercise, bloomin hormones! Will now fast thurs and sat as at work and it's easier. At least with 5:2 its not a disaster and I can move on and let it go, usually I would just go bonkers and "break" the diet completely

Fast day today, had bad binge day yesterday, TOM, first in a year so hit me hard- early menopause methinks and a few days off work, fasting is sooo easy at work but I find it harder at home. Hope everyone else has a good day x

Excellent results! And I do look forward to fast days, they get me back in control if I've had a bit of a scoff but I also love that that is not a disaster and can take it my stride and not then go off the rails o:)

Down another pound and sneaky third fast as work too busy. Nsv, one of the doctors asked me what I was doing as it was obviously working as he could see my waist now and he wants to lose weight and he wants advice o:) kept my reply to diet and exerciseas too busy to explain but it felt good B)

This is my second go at this and just had a week off and jumping back on, thats the beauty of this, you don't have to adapt your whole life, just 2 days a week ;)

I regularly do b2b fasts and its fine, I exercise on them too, but usually its due to work being very busy and no opportunity to eat. If I do feel wobbly a lo cal soup is good, I found out on here that its likely to be low electrolytes so the salt helps. Good luck

Are you weighing/measuring/logging everything? We tend to underestimate what we eat. But I 'wasted' 1500 cals on crisps and chocolate yesterday, lost control a bit but counted it all. You can do that with 5:2 o:)
