I have managed this year once 4 weeks sugar/flour free and and once 5 weeks. I want to get to the point to live forever sugar(added sugar) and flour free.

Thanks everyone. That was very interesting and helpful :)

Is your formula only for one hour? Or no matter how long it takes? I walked last Friday 5 miles in less than 2 hours. Does that mean according to your formula I burned about 866 cal? 0.63 x 275 x 5 miles = 866.25 Did I do that right?

MyFitnessPal tells me if I go on a elliptrical for 60 min I burn a little over 1,000 cal. I have been on the elliptical in the past and easy 2 hours...Not recently but I didn't know that I was burning that much. Can I trust the numbers from MyFitnessPal?

I have a coworker what burns 1,000 cal daily....she lost like 100 lbs or so.

Right! :D :p

Answer: They are only fruits, vegis, whole grains and yes also oils (but only olive oil and coconut oil and milk) maybe some eggs and some fish.

Thanks I will do that. :)

I have the same problem :( But agree with lorrpb: "There is nithing wrong with weighing daily as long as you learn to interpret the numbers." Still working on that as well.

I did think of that. I was just a little frustrated. :) That happens. Life is not easy and we all make mistakes right.

Thanks :)

Thanks...I know. I assumed that. Thanks. Still wanted to say that.

And why are you telling me this? I already answered and said that I was just giving an example and that I use the scale for even a cup or a spoon of onions!

I never had that before that I gained when I cut my calories especially not in the first week. It just is so weird to me. But I read about the water fluctuation and retention and other body fluids before. I knew that all already. I am am aware that it needs time and more than a week. I also wasn't expecting a huge…

Also 1 thing I forgot to mention is that I have PCOS. And I know women with PCOS have a harder time to lose weight. Does anyone know anything about that? I mean I know a lot already. I don't want to know whats wrong with me. I would like to know why is it harder to lose weight with PCOS?? It's about my hormones in the…

Nope. I mainly use the scale (digital). I was just giving an example of how little the food is it doesn't matter I log the food.

I guess I am confused because I have lost weight in the past and usually in the first week I lost about 5-7 lbs...what probably only was water. But after that I used to always lose a bit each day or every other day. But this time I am even gaining what is so different. Is it not calorie in calorie out? I mean I know it's…

I know that it is about the calorie deficit. I just wanted to point out that I eat quality calories and nothing processed. And yes I am using a food scale and measure ALL my portions. I also log in EVERYTHING even the 1/4 cup of onion. I only drink water. I am certain I am using the correct data base. This is not the first…

That is impressive!! I love what you all wrote! Finnsgma and mel35645: are you both staying away from only added sugar? And how do you do that? Even cereal bars and cake and so on?

Hi Craig_gail, I know what you mean. Sometimes that is all I could do just cry all day because I have let it go that far and wasted my life and body. But I am working on my thinking patterns: No more negative thoughts anymore! I am (we all are) beautiful from the inside and the outside! I just need to learn to accept that…
