It was my weigh in day. I lost 1 pound yay!!! :) My baby steps for the week are: 1) Eat breakfast and lunch concentrating on eating right, not just a rice cake and fruit on the fly. 2) Start cutting down on the rice cakes in the evening. 3) Be more mindful of my exercise, not just plow through it just to get it done.…

NE - I still can not see the weight I have lost. But my joints feel a little better and Mark tells me that I am not keeping him up snoring (though I always thought that he was just listening to himself snore lol ;) ).

NE - Most of us have various health issues, so we do what we can do. For me it is nice to be able to list what I can do and see my improvement :)

Karen, I totally understand about switching over the kitchen. I used keep 6-9 months of staples and when I had to switch it was ugly. I don't keep as much now as the flours and pastas don't have the same shelf life. I am glad you came through the tests so well. Hopefully now they will be able to tell you what is going on.

Yes, if I am on my knees I can hold them for 23 sec. My girls watch me to make sure I keep good form and keep my fanny down.

Karen, My smaller plates are an oriental pattern, half bowl half plate. I got a couple of sets of pretty chopsticks and chopstick holders to go with them. I have a thing about the table looking good and food presentation. I am glad your oscopies went well yesterday. I am sure you are relieved to have it all over.

Barlovo - Thank you for the information. We got a new set of smaller dishes and it has made a difference. Eating with chopsticks has also helped me. We have been eating our salad with our supper, I like the idea of eating in courses. I am going to try the unsalted nuts, evenings are hard for me.
