Thanks so much, folks. I did indeed start again, Day 7 today. This is when the real battle with persistence begins with me- when the scale slows. I am really feeling great already, and have a lot of optimism this time around. I appreciate all the sound advice and opinions!

Thanks so much, folks! I love the reduced cravings and appetite control on low-carb. Virtually ended any desires to binge, which is a problem for me with simple calorie restriction. I was just hesitant to try it again, because I really want to lose! I appreciate your help!

So, your calorie deficit should be the same as if you are ketogenic or not? I tried low carb before, and didn't lose a lot, but I think I was simply eating too much!

For those of you following Atkins, do you set a daily calorie limit? If so, what is it? I have done it in the past, but wasn't entirely successful- I think I was simply eating too much. I would like to try it again, as it always helps me get my eating under control.
