Not speaking for the original poster, but I always feel the benefits when I drink extra water. I shoot for 12-16 cups daily

No offense taken. I’m not exactly jumping for joy over the way August went. I was just trying to let you know you aren’t struggling alone.

My weight loss twin 🤣 We sure stay on the same path don’t we?? Sometimes the scale doesn’t cooperate with all the right moves we make. Keep going. Missed the game but saw your team won a really boring game. Take that win anyway you get them

I understand completely. Life sure aint easy sometimes (hell, most times...) But you nailed it: worked to hard to reverse. Just knowing that is the first step. You got this

Going to knock this out as well. Today I will be so busy. Work, then immediately picking my wife up after work to drive to Brooklyn and spend the night there. My work diet will be okay, but no time for a workout plus we are going to be stuck with highway rest stop food for dinner and will probably have some drinks at…

Weighing in a day early this week cause I will be out of town tonight. Last: 245.6 This: 246.3 I’m okay wih this. Usually when I add in intense workouts like kettlebells my muscles are really sore, which means they are inflamed. Inflamed muscles retain water for the healing process. Plus I am a day early. So just over a…

Mini challenge Sun: yes/no/yes Mon: yes/yes/yes Tue: yes/yes/yes My running goal for Sept is to first run a mile without stopping for a break, and second build up to a mile in under 10 minutes. I decided to test myself today. I was able to jog a mile with no break on my first try! Now with the whole month to go I need to…

I remember having these same conversations this time last year. No more summer excuses. And we all know what the holiday temptations of late November-early December bring. Let’s get a head start before that hits!

Mini challenge Sun: yes/no/yes Min: yes/yes/yes Lots of yard work, housework and errand running. Also threw in a youtube kettlebell workout!

I have no ill feeling towards the Packers (unless we are playing each other!) Actually a big fan if Rodgers. I agree with watching the games at home. No crowds, can pay attention to every detail, more comfort!

Good ol football season... One of the main reasons I am pushing myself extra in September. Eagles football is religion in our house and switches Sundays from housework and relaxing into parties and extra calories. Gonna have to become a regular at my gym Sunday mornings, haha

I did all right at the family bbq yesterday. I may not have had the healthiest food options but I only ate one large meal. I also did not have a single beer (shocking). And I got a lot of activity - swimming, volleyball and wiffle ball with my nephews. Today I am going to go and finish the yard work that I didn’t get done…

I think you and I are going to get along just fine. I also suffer from mental illness and am not shy about discussing it, although many are (understandably) I also have a black cat that you can see in my profile picture! I enjoy writing as well. People that I have let read what I have written have given me positive…

I think we all have the same idea. August we let loose a little. Time to get back into the rythm. We all got this. Enjoy the holiday (for those that have one) and then WE ALL OWN September✌🏼

Weigh in Last: 242.4 This: 245.6 As I said yesterday, I am okay with this. August is over and I am motivated for a great September. If I hit my September goal I will finally say goodbye to the 240s!

And just for entertainment: while doing a bunch of yard work today I got some bonus exercise when about 2-3 dozen bees attacked me. I was running all over the yard swatting at them and picking them off me. If the neighbors were looking outside they got some show. Thankfully I am not allergic.

Mini challenge Sun: no/no/no Mon: tracked and under: yes, active: no Tue: yes/yes/yes Wed: yes/yes/yes Thu: yes/yes/yes I know with my weigh in tomorrow I am going to be up in weight for the week after vacay last week (I took a look this morning and the damage was definitely done). I am going to be up for the month as well…

I see a lot of us setting goals and as I was at the gym after work today I got into some thoughts about how I am sick of my weight just lingering around 240-245 like it has for most of this year. I’m not setting an end game goal yet but these are my September goals: 1: go to the gym 4 times a week 2a: be able to run a mile…

Mini challenge Sun: no/no/no Mon: tracked and under: yes, active: no Tue: yes/yes/yes Wed: yes/yes/yes Well it seems I have made one hard move, which is ripping off the vacation mode band aid, and jumped back into a good groove. Now I need to challenge myself to not sabotage my hard work

I think many of us often want to take some time off from this challenge - actually I did do it for about a month or so last winter. But you hit it on the head. This group helps through the tough times and keeps us accountable - even if sometimes it just means making one or some better decisions we may not have.

Hello new and old friends. I am 38 years old and constantly struggling with weight. I was a skinny kid, gained a lot of weight in high school. Lost a lot of weight in my early 20s, gained it all back and then some more. I have worked in the beer industry for the past 12+ years so that adds into the weight loss struggles.…

Mini challenge Sun: no x3 - it was the last day of vacation and i treated it as such Mon: tracked and under: yes, but not active. I was so exhausted going back to work so I rested after work. Very glad I ate well and jumped back to intermittent fasting though. First steps to getting into good habits.

I am back from vacation and now I need to get back into my pre-vacation habits. After my spring vacation I jumped right back into it that Monday and I am hoping I can do the same this time. I won’t lie, I did not do well over those 10 days. I was very active, but I ate all the carbs and salty snacks so I feel very bloated.…

I’d like to roll over my weight for this week. I don’t want to see what the vacation damage was. Thanks

Month goal with a week and a half left?!! 👍
