I think if you're worried about it maybe measure the total amount of marinade before and after the meat has been in it. Just do it once and then you can kind of assume its similar in the future.

Chicken chili in the crock pot. Bell pepper, onion, chicken breast (or thighs), taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and about 6 hours later the chicken just falls apart. Add black beans if you're into that but I prefer it lower carb.

I did it for 6 months and lost almost 40lbs. Got off track at the holidays and blew up. Once we finally get home after all our travels on Wednesday I'm getting right back to it. Love keto.
