  • I have to have a small snack (About 200 calories) between breakfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner or else I am starving by dinner. I usually have a complex carb with some protein, and then helps cull the hunger. Also, lots and lots of water
  • We had a gray cat when I was a kid. I was quite unoriginal and called her "Kitty Gray."
  • I just found our my local Walmart carries it, and I will be stocking up!!! I think it better than Oikos and Chobani, by far! I'm going to try to find the 4oz packs.
  • I do mine in the morning and follow it through the day. It definitely helps me know how many calories I have by the end of the day.
  • I now have to find salted caramel!!!!
  • I found Noosa "yoghurt" at our local commissary and bought it on a whim. 12g protein per 8 ounce serving. Yes, it has like 200 calories or so, but it is my most favorite yogurt ever. It is so different in taste from most yogurts. Almost like a sweet, yogurt consistency cream cheese with fruit. It is so good!!! I bought…
  • I typically drink about a gallon of water a day. If I am bored, I listen to music, take a walk, or do something for a few minutes. I might also pop a piece of sugar free gum to give me something to do.
  • I had really bad GERD before losing weight. Even the Nexium wasn't helping. I couldn't have coffee, tea, doughnuts, PB, chocolate, OJ, or greasy/fatty foods. Even dairy made my flare sometimes. Now that I have dropped a considerable bit of weight, I haven't had any issues with it. I cut out all coffee and OJ though. Those…
  • My Fitbit crapped out on me this week while I was out of town. So, instead of relying on steps, I spent time in the pool. This week, I spent more time in the pool with my kids, throwing them around, swimming with the little ones hanging all over me, and playing in the ocean with them than I have in the past 6 years…
  • I burned a good chunk of calories today, and so I am craving ALL THE THINGS!!!! Mainly bread...lots and lots of bread. I could probably eat an entire loaf of Italian, French, or Sourdough bread right now. Not even kidding.
  • They aren't that small. There are two to the pack, and they are like twice the size of a Figure Newton...and thicker.
  • Nature's Bakery. They make the fig cookies, as well, in raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, and other flavors. Their brownies are indeed out let chocolate, mint chocolate, chocolate raspberry...and some other flavors. They are so tasty!
  • Arctic Freeze is new to me, but I love it. I can have an entire pint of ice cream without the guilt, now! :) And Hint Water!! I love it! I also found these double chocolate brownies that are made with dates and other good ingredients that are 180 calories a pack. I'm enjoying finding products without enriched/bleached…
  • RIP Kim Chi... On a side note, while I don't drink milk, I do eat plenty of yogurt, cheese, ice cream, and butter. I also use milk in my baking. Dairy is good and good for you. They also make reduced fat dairy products if you want a lower fat content, and you can switch to nut milks or soy milk if you're lactose…
  • I tried on a pair of size 10 pants at the store today because they didn't have a 12. They fit! I didn't get them because they were not flattering, but they actually fit! I can't believe it! To clarify, while I could fit into a size 10 shorts a few days ago, those shorts were made big and not a 10 in a typical brand.
  • Today - Pork tenderloin, baby lima beans, and strawberries.
  • 10. I will probably always unite for 10. Doctor Donna Friend.
  • Lol The Quaker chocolate crunch rice cakes are pretty good. Made with brown rice. Only 60 calories. They are nice and crunchy. Helps with my chocolate cravings when I don't have my Ghirardelli squares.
  • I love Smuckers Natural Creamy. Just peanuts and a little salt. It's SOOOOO good. I alternate between that and Sunbutter. I love either in chocolate rice cakes...and I eat about a tbsp of PB on my celery or apple slices.
  • Sleep. I haven't slept that great in a few days, and I woke up sick this morning. So, I just want to crawl back into bed, pull the covers over my head, and inhale the Vicks until I drift into Nyquil dreams. PS - Whovians unite!!
  • I felt rough going for our walk tonight. Ended up having to go home a quarter of the way through because I was getting sick. Came home and rested for a few before going right back out and getting my 10k steps in. Before I started my journey, I would have just gone to bed and given up.
  • Thank you all. I appreciate the clarification from all of you in regards to my diet. I will definitely modify as I get closer to my goal weight. I really appreciate all the insight!
  • I have heard of shwarma (nod to Avengers), and I have seen shwarma, but I have never had shwarma. Now, I want shwarma.
  • I'm not trying to glaze over anything. I'm working with my doctor, who is also a nutritionist, on the diet portion. I'm coming to you guys for the exercise portion, and I greatly appreciate all the advice. I am eating at a deficit to lose weight. I have gone from 202.8 down to 180.5 in the past 9ish weeks. I currently eat…
  • Thanks, wilsoncl6!
  • Yeah. My husband has one of the tungsten rings. If he ever needed it sized (up or down), we would have to buy a new ring...and those ain't cheap! Lol
  • I appreciate that, psulemon. Thanks for the dose of realism. Hopefully, I can see the results when some more of the fat goes away. :) You guys gave been so helpful!
  • That's kinda what I have going on, AnnPT77. When my arms are flexed, there is no wobble or jiggle. When they are held straight out, it's a huge swoop. It looks so gross to me. It has gotten smaller, but I want to work on those triceps for sure. My arms have always been pretty weak, too. So, I will keep plugging along on my…
